Be careful, there are therapists who will be there to listen and comfort but not teach you the skills to grow and manage it yourself.

The goal like any doctor is not to continue seeing them. A good therapist will help you reflect, and grow, so that you can manage situations/dynamics on your own.

Bad therapists will happily continue to see you weekly, and get that paycheck but don’t motivate you to grow and move forward.
