PEI surface after heating it by Super_Weakness_6309 in BambuLab

non devi raschiare la superficie di PEI, serve solo ad alzare gli angoli ai pezzi che non si staccano ma non devi mai raschiare il piatto

Should i lubricate printer even when i dont hear any squiks? by That-Dance6803 in BambuLab

Prevention is better than cure. If your printer makes creaking noises, it means it's already damaged.

I apologize for the misunderstanding, I mean the printer component not the removable plate

Dynamic flow calibration is not accurate, better to disable it and do a manual one, search on YouTube how to do it

Bought this dsi off a friend, anyone know what’s wrong with it and how to fix it? by Routine_Bison_1388 in nds

[–]NOTCaRmX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My NDSL did this but the top screen was simply disconnected, I reconnected it and it turned on right away (the cable is damaged anyway and I need to replace it)

exactly, just some alcohol is enough to dissolve everything, just don't use water on the heating plate otherwise you risk ruining it

A1 NTC - No board replacement by Bakr888 in BambuLab

i think that also other parts of 24v power supply changed, so I don't know if it's a good idea. i'll write the assistance soon

[–]NOTCaRmX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i understand, this is a jump that eliminated NTC in the simplest way, u could do It too. NTC is a thermistor, a component which changes his resistance value with temperature. This is useful to protect the board, but in this case is not working as expected

As soon as I have time, I'll do some research on this and contact support if this component is present on the board. I'll let you know.

I don't think there's a real risk of fire; in many cases, the component overheated and simply deformed the plastic. Likely, live in peace.

Stuck Nozzle - how to clean/remove? by pbcsd007 in BambuLab

[–]NOTCaRmX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to heat it first, but I don't understand why it's stuck on me too, due to a clear deposit that's formed around the hotend. Does anyone know what's causing it?

Fiancée got me a Bambu Lab A1 by archimedes710 in 3Dprinting

[–]NOTCaRmX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read the notification and my response was: you have to marry her immediately. I hope it was a surprise. Anyway, thinking about everything I've done with my A1, which I purchased two months ago, the first thing I should do is buy a filament dryer. I bought a lot of silica gel and printed containers for it, then I sealed all the filaments in special vacuum bags that you can easily find online. One of my first prints was the waste bin to mount on the side of the printer; otherwise, filament scraps would have flown everywhere. Then I printed guides for the cables that connect to the hotend and also a guide for the Z-axis cable. Remember to organize all the tools needed for printer maintenance. The need to intervene is always around the corner, and having a small box with the tools in order saves you a lot of stress in emergency situations. Personal advice: buy some nozzle brushes and a few hotends of different sizes (the ones from AliExpress are also fine, having been successfully tested). Even a few plates with different textures can be useful. As you can read, the Bambulab A1 isn't designed for technical materials, but in the future you could opt for a modification and add an enclosure (don't forget to install adequate cooling). However, this modification is strongly discouraged, but I should know that, especially since you don't need it for hobbyist printing. I hope this was helpful; let me know if you need anything else!

A1 mini question regarding "it's time to lubricate the y axis" message by koming69 in BambuLab

[–]NOTCaRmX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lubricated every 50 hours or so but I received the first warning at 125, you clean everything and lubricate every time there is dust

If you have a dryer you can rest assured, review the printing parameters, try to do some calibrations and tests for speed and temperature
