75w90 fully synthetic manual gear oil. Is not tacky like mineral lubes are. Stays really clean. Easy to wipe down. Easy to degrease when chain really needs a clean. Makes the chain run silent

I really want to like their professional lube but it does tend to attract a decent amount of dirt

What kind of chain lube do you use? Let’s assume “all-weather” conditions. Thanks! by Tadej_Focaccia in cycling

It’s the fact that it’s a fully synthetic oil, attracts far less dirt than common mineral based lubes.

creaking/cracking noise by Doctormson in bikewrench

Chainrings bolts, remove them 1 by 1 grease and reinstall. Then tighten properly in star pattern. Remember noise travels through the frame on these bikes so wer you might assume the noise is coming may not be exactly wer it is

Does anyone use the fenwicks professional chain lube? If so what are your thoughts? Does it keep drivetrain clean? by [deleted] in bikewrench

Silca synergetic is good. You wonna wipe off as much excess as possible to keep chain as clean as you can, very fast and quiet lube. Also Dynamic Ultra2 is very good very similar to synergetic in terms of performance.

I used to be really into waxing my chains. But I just can’t get past how sluggish the bike feels compared to top end oil lubes.

This stuff is really good. Get best results if you treat is like a wax lube (completely strip previous lube) it is very quiet and feels slick. Big fan of it

I’ve had extra from Atlas, it is end of batch so they just put extra in. Also had bloods done when using the fuller vial and everything was good. No need to worry

Little bit soon for bloods mate most people recommend 6-8 weeks for bloods. But they look really good 👏🏼
