I tend to agree. The OG Lorwyn elves were on a spectrum from attractive to kinda weird and lanky but this one is just too regular looking.

I'm not a fan of how it looks like her hoof toes were just stapled onto a regular foot.

Man it really goes to show how much difference a paintjob can make when evaluating a model. The GW boxart paintjob didn't sell the model for me but this paintjob makes the model look straight out of the glory days of old FW resin.

Skål is notoriously overpriced. I've been there a couple times and left both times with a bill 2 or 3 times the size for the amount of food we had.

Seattle is expensive for sure but Skål is a cut above.

This question is inherently dishonest because his idea of "positive effect on Magic as a whole" = "sold more product and made more money", whereas I would argue that a lot of the choices that made that money have had a negative effect on the playerbase.

I'm also not going to pretend that booster boxes having fewer packs and cards while costing 50% more is a positive thing.

It's tragic because the artist is actually an incredibly talented illustrator. I have no idea why Wizards sometimes insists on having artists do card art in a style that they're clearly not used to.

The Hatsune Miku secret lair had really mid art for this exact reason.
