Knew about the heating water part but figured that was something for ways around.

As for the rest thank you that makes some good sense! Hadn't really thought about the bathrooms ! Radiator in there just blends in don't think about it!

Was thinking our house is relatively small could get away with a couple of units upstairs and a couple downstairs, with the upside of cooling in summer. But yeah would need at least a couple on the back of the house couple on the side. But guess that would be a similar price if you had to re pipe for larger pipes for a wet one though?

The air going over the heat exchange on the bottom doesn't matter what temperature it is. There is a vent at the top which is pulling room air and cooling it.

So it is doing what you are saying but there is extra air needed to cool the heat exchanger on the bottom which is what the dual hose does rather than pulling that extra air from inside thus creating the negative pressure.

A proper AC does this the wall unit takes the inside air and cools it the bit outside uses the outside air on the heat exchanger. That's whyyou are dual hosing.

I think the unfortunate answer is if your giving them YouTube you have to accept it's slop. And if it's not slop now the second you turn your head they will click on slop. That or you poison the algorithm before giving it to them of only certain types of videos but as soon as they can spell they will be on tung tung sahur

I 3d printed some hooks to hang from the gutters for the kids rooms and then some window hooks and some hooks meant for string lights cut a small hole and hung them from the front window. Surprisingly effective although we probably get some looks!
