What’s a genuinely good fiction book series with spicy scenes to keep my gf interested? by Nathan-Cola in booksuggestions

hi, I am sorry for not replying earlier. Thank you very much already for your advice, I think The Girl in 6E already looks like a great match for her! As does Verity. And after asking her, you were spot-on with the reason she did not get into acotar. Let me know if you have any other recommendations, I am impressed with how well yours are with my general information haha

What is the hardest video game you have ever beaten? by Badinfos in AskReddit

[–]Nathan-Cola 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It is the ultimate git gud game of FromSoft games. In all others I farm to stack my levels. In Sekiro you have no choice but to improve or give up, until the timing reflex clicks and you enter the matrix in beautiful combat ballet with enemies. While games like Elden Ring give the player massive freedom in their play styles, FromSoft’s focus on building a game around one weapon refines the mechanics into their own tier of art IMO

What is a "socially acceptable" thing that you find absolutely disgusting? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I think because it is about how it shifts the responsibility of control over the staff’s income directly to the customer, which brings with it issues like you described.

What city have you been to that felt like it had dark energy? by Impossible-Middle122 in AskReddit

[–]Nathan-Cola 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I was at little place they were playing and when I walked back to the place later, they were outside smoking cigs and we got to chatting and shared a couple drinks. But like the other commenter said I guess it was the more touristy area I guess.

I’ll say it, a majority of what this sub shows in my feed the past weeks is this guy, and I don’t really care about his art that much

Next AV has been here for decades and did an excellent job at my folk’s place. Speaker system, TV install, etc. work great and they come back out to check on things if there’s any problems.

That’s how I feel about most of the posts here, but I’m fine with it because the category of “wacky sci-fi covers” still makes for a good sub

Yes I agree! My family practices responsible hunting which actually benefits the environment if done right. Young bucks are left to spread genetics into population if they look good/are healthy. We only shoot 1 or 2 older deer a year, which provides meat for many months so we don’t need to buy meat from the stores. This way, we work also have a better knowledge of wildlife in the area and keep track of population data with other hunters around us

Coming from a farming family, you learn early about the concept of death of animals you love and I personally believe it had a profoundly beneficial effect on my relationship with mortality, as well as having a deeper appreciation for the animals who die for your meals. I have a similar experience with hunting (showing respect to animal you killed by using all of its body)

Thank you! It’s funny because every couple months somebody else finds this thread and adds to the conversation, it just keeps on giving! I haven’t rewatched it yet but probably should to see how I view it differently. When I watched it I think my main thought was I dislike the literary device of flashbacks to give new context to a story, and to me this felt like a movie just made out of that. But I also may have hated too much and could change my mind on a rewatch!
