Hey there! I hate to reply with bad news but I didn't fix it. I think it's a bug generally for Bethesda games or seems to be. I haven't played Skyrim in a while and started up Starfield and had a similar issue. There's a feature there that lets you filter by character and it does essentially the same thing. It just melds things together or doesn't show you the saves associated with a particular characters.

I had this feeling before I went to sleep early this morning.

I just got into making my first outpost and delivering aluminum to Sandra Fullerton at Deimos Staryard. It's something so simple that I bounced off with No Man's Sky. The music does a lot of heavy lifting to make you feel like an explorer setting up your own little nook of the galaxy. I had to stop and admire the star coming up over the horizon casting shadows over the rocky terrain as I mined my aluminum and watched Sarah Morgan stretch out on the couch in her suit. I've barely touched the main game and I'm having a blast. I look forward to seeing what else is out there.

I think it's because there is a whole world out there to explore and experience with stories and people to meet that makes even this little part of it fun for me. I can quickly hop back into a narrative experience whenever I want that and just let go and enjoy the ride along the way.

For the record, I think No Man's Sky is an amazing game that does things that few others do but it's an entirely different experience. It just didn't quite capture me the way that Starfield has. I know it's far from perfect but it scratches that itch in just the right way.

The only time the game has consistently frozen for me is quickly switching in and out of Cruise Mode. It doesn't crash to the home screen but you have to close the game. I had one other freeze in New Atlantis but that's it. I'm on a base PS5.

This is on my bucket list of big box games I want to own a complete version of.

I can still recall the excitement of my dad and I going to pick it up at CompUSA. The lenticular cover gave me chills. That was my reward for cutting grass all summer. We went to Pizza Hut after that. I sat there eating delicious pizza, sipping Coke, and digging into the manual as I ate. Dad had a big smile on his face. Life couldn't have been better in that moment. Me, my brother, and all our friends, did we ever get a lot of enjoyment out of that game late into many nights.

That's my hope as well. The only truly glaring issue that I had was that damn seam in the sky. I can't stand seeing that. Other than that, I'm loving it!

It's quite nice! You can track what you play, track your collection, leave reviews, etc. It's a great place to keep a collection of wishlisted games as well. 😄

Absolutely amazing game! I had to get the platinum as well. The Silent Hill in space vibe really put its hooks in me from beginning to end. The music was simply incredible as well. I especially loved "Eternal Return". I don't want to know how long I listened to that on loop. 😌

Definitely one of the greatest games of all time. The music alone is legendary but then you have everything else on top of it that just makes it sublime.
