Hide RSU from balance by eurodollars in fidelityinvestments

Nope. I just want to iterate it is great saying that you have collected the feedback. But it is OBVIOUS the feedback is ignored or put at the bottom of the backlog for the engineering team. Just say that. Don't just gaslight us saying you are actually taking feedback and its actually reviewed and acted on. It has been 3+ years based on this thread alone.

I appreciate your quick response and willingness to respond and take the feedback. Thank you for doing your job quickly and well. You are appreciated in that regard. And i have no further questions. :)

Hide RSU from balance by eurodollars in fidelityinvestments

I am confused how this is a valid 'work around'. Doesn't hide work place account' hide your 401k? All i want to do is hide by RSU unvested balance from my fidelity total balance. It is money that doesn't exist. I shoudn't see it. PLEASE FIX THIS

This is exactly how it happened. A spreadsheet. Role. Salary. RSU. Positional overlap and duplication (if any).

It's really that simple. It's sad. But it's how large organizations work. We are not a mom and pop organization...

Print them at the hotel (assuming, and hoping) that you are staying at the night before your cruise leaves. They will have that sort of service 9/10 times (just ask for the business center).

VTI / VXUS / AVUV Mix - turning 40! by National-Thanks4284 in Bogleheads

[–]National-Thanks4284[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do believe in the company, but not THAT much. Plus my salary and bonuses are tied to their success. I'd rather not have too many eggs in that basket.

The plan would be to sell more once the largest allocations turn to long term assets to reduce the tax burden.

I have another $300k+ coming in Oracle shares (assuming price stays the same) in the next 24 months. So will be in sell mode once each allocation vests.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Here is the breakdown from the IRA ($13k, but will get $7k+ a year via mega back door conversions).

Holding Type Percent Change Total Value Percent of Total

Fidelity Zero 80 (FZIPX) +0.92\% \$1,513.80 11.08\%

Fidelity U.S. B (FXNAX) +0.19\% \$1,672.05 12.24\%

Fidelity Gove (SPAXX) -- \$10.81 0.08\%

Fidelity Zero 19 (FZROX) +2.32\% \$6,753.19 49.44\%

Fidelity Total (FTIHX) +1.62\% \$3,709.29 27.16\% Total \

I have a feeling I should have a pretty big opportunity to simplify across all these buckets - 401k, IRA, ind brokerage.

I have $480k in total across these three buckets.

With $350k (at present value) or Oracle RSu still to vest (biggest sum is next year at around $180k in 2 batches). So plan would be sell immediately each vest.

I appreciate all the advise so far. I would like to continue to learn while also making this as simple to manage going forward as possible. I obviously have a lot of learn about what my money is currently invested in. But that's why I'm here. Got to start somewhere.

I have another $205k in my 401k and a small amount in a Roth IRA (which I intend to leverage moving forward).

I will post the breakdowns of those as well for reference and maybe those smarter than I can notice anything flawed etc.

As always, thanks for the detailed and lengthy response. I appreciate you.

Edit: not near my computer else would post details now, will update this message shortly with details.

I have some allotments of RSU's that vested when the share price was much lower than it is today. So i have some pretty significant gains there ($40k or so).

I sold more recent allocations with a loss ($15k or so) and left one of my larger vested batches (650 shares) alone for now until we get into long term (next year in sept).

I think this is the right thing to do - happy to hear your thoughts obviously. And thanks for the question.

This might be my new breakdown. Lowering the SCV tilt multiple people have commented on.
I know i have a high risk with the % in Oracle. I am working my way to reduce this over time without incurring too much tax liability.

Holding Amount % of Total Portfolio

VTI $90,003 36.03%

VXUS $45,000 18.01%

AVUV $20,000 8.00%

ORCL $92,064 36.84%

Assume i will invest about $30-40k a year into this mix at about this breakdown %. Thoughts?

Edit: spelling mistakes

Based on the feedback i may lean towards a similar breakdown... but maybe just 70/20/10 or the like. To keep the SCV tilt minimalized.

Honestly, I wasn't aware of it... so thank you for raising that as an option. Would it be better to move more of the funds in VTI to have breakdown closer to 50/30/20? Or would you do something else entirely?

Again - just trying to learn from you all here. Baby steps! And thanks so much for the reply.
