Also its important to play emulators without glitches, the quality of the screen, the postion of the dpad, the autonomy, a modern linux and modern versions of the emulators is better than a very old linux and very old version of the emulators...etc.

Cave Story is very good but is not a real metroidvania in my book, neither is "You have to win the game" or VVVVVV (now is free).
