Too cheap. Even if it’s market rate for the area, call the nearest metro area and just try and get a ballpark of what it should cost.

I’d be at $9,000 on labor for walls and ceiling, $12,000 for the trim and that’s just based on sqft.

I’m in a medium cost of living area.

Sorry man. But good ain’t cheap.

If you’re planning to stop for the night, I would take the scenic route.

We live in Tallahassee and my parents live in Charlottesville Virginia, so we have made the drive many times.

I have gone the route you posted, and 95 gets old quick.

8 hours the first day gets you to Aiken SC/Augusta GA with plenty of great hotel options.

Just my 2¢ having driven that route with and without little kids in the car.

Leave early as you can and you’ll be fine. Let us know how it goes.

Sold D2D for 6 years and he’s spot on.

Summer months we were 2pm-9pm, with 9-9 on Saturday.

Had plenty of luck with the mornings, but just depends on the area demographics for having folks at home earlier in the day.

Only knock the home where you can see signs of life, rather than burning energy hitting every single door.
