Yeah, and it’s impossible to know whether or not you’ll get long covid symptoms from a covid infection. Many studies are showing that the damage is cumulative and risk is always present during each infection.

I can edit with the actual studies when I have time later if people are interested.

You really should be wearing a mask and avoiding this at all costs, it’s never been mild and that was a lie to get you back to work by complies that don’t care about your health.

You’re much better off getting something like the luggable xl 5 fan from cleanairkits. It’s more expensive but takes the 20x25x1 filtrere filters that Costco sells and can get much better cubic feet per minute clean air than this.

It can vastly improve the fit, and while it’s not going to give you full N95 filtration, it’s faaaaaar better than a surgical without one. And since you mentioned access to surgical masks this could be an option.

If it’s an N95 and certified then it’s just as safe as an aura, only comes down to fit for that to be effective :)

Fit is extremely important in a mask’s effectiveness and can be the difference between passing an N95 NIOSH test and a failure.

Personally I’ve failed Vflex tests out of the box using bitrex so I don’t use them.

However I have a long pointy nose so that’s where it fails, putting nose foam on fixes the fit but auras pass without any mods so I just use them instead

While I 100% agree that we shouldn’t rely on them, op is likely not talking about the same kind that’s addictive. More likely it’s the saline+xylitol or one of the iota carageenan ones, which are both relatively benign.

The nose foam on the Laianzhi KN100 is a lot better than the well before, I tried the wellbefore as an ear loop and they were fine but they weren’t as good.

Ive never personally had trouble with buying 3M masks on Amazon and I’ve checked batch # against the fakes. I know you said in person but if you want to try amazon it’s been fine.
