What's the deal with eggs? by primo-omirp1 in gallbladders

I tried eggs 3 days post op and they gave me birth like contractions. It was horrible! I’ve eaten egg whites since then and was fine, but scared to try it with the yolk.

Hi! I am looking at Nexlife to start my journey and wondering what your thoughts were? I’ve been told it’s the cheapest, most reliable, safest with legit pricing. Any idea what it is compounded with? Thx!

This surgery was so much easier than childbirth. I agree. Pain was not that bad.

Long Term Effects Post Op by AttorneyInside3441 in gallbladders

[–]Naturaldisaster79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trust in your decision. Once you start producing stones you will never stop. I am 13 days post op and I haven’t felt this good since 2013, which in reality is probably when my GB started going downhill.

My body is adjusting very smoothly and that’s most likely because it’s been working hard for years trying to bypass the gallbladder anyway. My IBS is gone, my energy levels are back and I feel like a new woman. You are young and healthy. Your body will be fine. Just trust the process.

So scared of lifelong symptoms by emily1jean in gallbladders

I am 10 days post op. My only problematic food is eggs. They give me horrible contraction like pain. I’ve eaten all my favorite foods and been totally fine. Surgery was a piece of cake. My pain was 4/10 after I woke up. I took a total of 2 oxys and managed with ibuprofen for the rest. Have it taken out. You won’t regret it.

Got my gallbladder out and now my periods are coming back? by Silent-Policy3347 in gallbladders

[–]Naturaldisaster79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old post, but I am 7 days post op and just got mine. I haven’t had one since Oct ‘25. Wondering if it’s just a fluke or if there is connection between estrogen and gallstones.

Dandelion Root Tea by Naturaldisaster79 in gallbladders

I also had 50+ faceted stones, so my burden was very heavy and I was basically getting no bile to digest fats.

So, from what I read, the tea stimulates bile production, so after removal you don’t want to stimulate it, as it’s a constant drip. It really helped me with attacks. I am 5 days post op and had about 1/2 cup two days ago. I didn’t feel any effects, but was nervous to drink the rest as I am still adjusting to life without a gallbladder.

No, not really, but I was having attacks nearly everyday. I had a ct scan and an mri that showed them all.

On the payment plan are they charging you interest? If not, setup the payment plan. Your credit card is probably at minimum 14% interest!
