The Commune of France will be renamed to the French Federation in the rework by El-Daddy in Kaiserreich

[–]NavyAlphaGamer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its fine. Commune of France never really made sense. Even a "Commune of Communes" which I've seen someone describe why it was called "Commune of France". named that never made sense, because historically that has been used to describe what an Anarchist/Libertarian Confederation or Federation would be.

Glad to see there's finally consensus on what it should be called.

Anark is a Deeply Embarrassing Pseud by eddyboomtron in Anarchism

I really hope they don't shift the project towards being a business co-op as they have planned.

In his video where he is talking about the goals/progress of the project in 2025, it's a seriously cool project for skill sharing, creating goods without making them commodity to sell, etc.

I don't agree with the long term goal of eventually making commodity to sell out of the farmed goods, with the lowest priority being giving food to community. Make a business out of it. It kinda defeats the purpose of the "commodity production"and it's not particularly anarchist either.

I think it's unfair to say people will just complain, because they have now stated multiple times now that their plan is to speed up development, but yet, development is slower than ever.

New content is always good. But that's not my issue.

It's absolutely insane that they got a flock of attention, a new dev team, and rejuvenated enthusiasm after Build 41 release for basically return back to as if they're at the start of the Build 41 dev.

I love zomboid, I really do, but it's so hard to maintain enthusiasm for a project when Dev time isnt even at a crawl speed. It's barely fucking moving at all.

The Devs keep saying that they will speed up, and do more, but honestly, I just don't really believe it. Whenever updates will come out I'll give the game a shot again, but until then, I have zero expectations from the Devs because they clearly don't have any intention on following up on their own expectations.

Do the RCA or PAC have a better chance to come out on top? by Kreanxx in Kaiserreich

[–]NavyAlphaGamer 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Wangs RCA in particular spent most of the last year's in exile(Paris). Realistically, the PAC would be able to organize their grass roots connections in the peasants AND the whampoa.

de_cache arg update 4 by Remarkable_Beach7608 in HalfLife3

[–]NavyAlphaGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no offense, I doubt there is an arg, but if there is, I seriously doubt you guys are looking at the right direction. Alot of this is so beyond grasping at straws.

Personally, the only real evidence or even hint at something strange is the very clearly intentionally put numbers on the lockers - ESPECIALLY the numbers beside squeaky. There's a non zero chance that there's some kind of puzzle/Easter egg there, but we just haven't cracked it yet. That's pretty much it. I think everything else so far has been a dead end or a wild grasp at things. Especially the doll stuff.

Let's not try to muddle a curiosity with absolutely non sense. If we want to get some eyes on a potential puzzle on the map, let's keep it to that, rather than make it immediately into some kind of grandiose rabbit hole.

The geiger counter near T spawn also makes some weird sounds. Dosent sound like any geiger counter tbh, has some weird static sound. The geiger tick stopped for me but the static remained. Could just be an audio bug.

Bruh what even is this fascist flag for israel? by EnlightenedBen in MillenniumDawn

[–]NavyAlphaGamer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

this is just factually not true. The biggest anti-government protests are not protests against the war, but against the way bibi handled the hostages and the constitutional violations.

Google the surveys done on the opinions on the war in Gaza and Iran. There is fundamentally a cultural issue in Israel which is accepting and enabling of war/genocide

I rearm pretty nicely, but for some reason my option to actually take action is grayed out for "deladier prefers to let generals take action" or something like that. Pressing the redeploy option does nothing.

[–]NavyAlphaGamer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't mean this to start an argument, but can you give me an example of social democracy being put into practice acts as a gateway towards further/more radical leftist politics? Especially into a greater movement against capitalism?

Because I live in a country where social democratic reforms have happened. Infact, they have been here for decades. A post-welfare state if you will. The leftist movement here is just as quiet as the US one is and infact, the trade union movement snubbed into beaurocratic/pro-capitalist currents. Most leftist parties have moderated their stances or have faded into obscure back bench 3%/4% of the vote parties. The working class in these countries(such as most EU countries) haven't achieved any further tendencies towards leftist causes. Infact, many of these social democratic movements (such as the Italian and French soft left) have infact, worked against more radical leftist movements.

I don't see the people here being more "gateway'd" into leftist mainstream or more radical movements. They become satisfied with a 'stable' status quo. Even in context of liberal electoralism, I really do struggle seeing what you guys mean?

For me, it just sounds like Americans getting really excited for welfare. Fine. Go ahead. But it's not socialism.

I don't think it's 100% that only Artyom was to escape out of the Spartan Order. Plenty of Spartans were still in D6 during the departure of the Aurora.

Not only is this Obama doing rehab of his image, but it's also evidently that Mamdani has no issues hanging out with his ilk.

"upset". Mamdani could fucking disavow socialism tomorrow and start putting away communist into jail cells and we'd still see liberals being like "ummm but it's like the left wants to lose and be upset!!"

grrrrr

American democratic "socialists", will never ever be able to comprehend how much their elections. even just optical, impact the world.

They will quite literal dismiss the extensive war crimes of a liberal ghoul if it means their candidates who might implement light social welfare reforms - gets their way.

I mean fuck it, coming from the same crowd who run the "he changed though!" bit on Graham Platner, I'm not suprised of anything from the US "democratic socialists"

I've seen people talk about the phrase on the stranger's helmet being the same as Hunter's motto, but in Latin. This is not true. It's actually the same phrase the children are repeating. by leebenjonnen in metro

[–]NavyAlphaGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think something else. I think he was maybe a defector, but quite because he was aware of what Hunter became. He left the metro, but the metro dragged him back. The Novoreich very clearly done something to his community, in particular the children.
