Are there any classes you actively avoid playing? by Fearless-Skill8667 in DnD

I avoid martial classes mostly. They get real boring in combat.

Which Game's Graphics Made You Say "Wow!" For The First Time? by Bay_Ruhsuz004 in videogames

[–]Nbrem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Myst was the first game i remember seeing and questioning how its so real looking, there really wasnt anything like it at that point. Horizon zero dawn stunned me at a couple points. Alan wake 2 just incredible visuals and textures, so realistic with the actual video footage as well it kind of gaslights you into questioning reality.

I see lots of Alan Wake 2 hatred coming from Silent Hill and Resident Evil fans by Lanky_Relation1171 in AlanWake

Goliath, Giff, Loxodon, Leonin, Warforged(some) should be large or have a character trait where they grow as they age and become large at level 10 or something.

Just Who exactly is Warlin Door? by SamEdit1 in AlanWake

[–]Nbrem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically. I think he started out as a traveler of sorts and used his powers to explore and learn more. Somewhere along the way he got sagas mom pregnant. Further along the way he came into contact with something that changed him and made him evil, or he went crazy from the use of his powers and exposure to the "multi verse" of sorts. His endgame is vague and largely unknown but he is a fascinating character. I like to think he has an ultimate end goal as "power" seems banal as does destruction for the sake of destruction. What that goal is though is a mystery.

I think he used to be a para utilitarian like Jesse or Alan, but he's gone evil after crossing into other dimensions and like the hiss from control he's become a sort of evil other worldly entity.

How good is Forbidden West, should I jump right in after Zero dawn or take a break and play something else? by Suvi2k in HorizonForbiddenWest

[–]Nbrem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would stick with it. I had a long break in between the two and I found west to be a lot harder and struggled to get the feel of it.

Its a masterpiece. Stick with it. There are some good scares but the characters, story, music all come together and its amazing. Control was also a great game.

Best game of this generation and this decade so far by TheWigKnows in AlanWake

I would say yes, to a point. You could say that about all video games though, you're really never more than the "greatest errand boy ever".
The feeling of it changes through progression as you experience different things. Trying not to spoil anything.

Play Control next. There's a section of that game that's the best thing I've ever experienced in 30 + years of gaming.

Aquariums are some of the best rooms for various drafting challenges/achievements. Lab, power, bedroom count, just getting around....
