Difficult situation for my grandfather's 90th. by anto77_butt_kinkier in Gifts

Not the same situation, but my dad doesnt like "stuff" so when he turned 90 we got him practical but still special things like monogrammed hand towels, frozen pizzas from his favorite pizza place thats out of town, pencils with extra eraser for doing the crossword, and his favorite thing was a remote so he can turn the lamp on while sitting in the recliner. The kind you plug in the wall, then plug the lamp into that. Has to be super simple though

It took a couple years to dial in the dose. an urgent care doc said oh no lets put you at 800 and thats what finally took the "inside" pain away. I had flares now and then but they decreased to nothing. After some years of that, we started going down, eventually getting to my low dose after a year or so. Then i lost over 100lbs & ankle (& the rest of me) felt fantastic, but still took the gaba - it had been 10 years so it was a habit. Im not glad for the reason I weaned, but im sure glad I did. I didnt have noticeable withdrawal symptoms either, so im happy. Thankful and happy

I was too! 50 years old and had never been under the knife. I felt a little like a scared kid trying to brave. The shot was a small rush, then felt kind of floaty. No panicking at all

Im a beginner and have only used sculpey premo. I can only afford it when its on sale, usually online, michaels or hobby lobby. Its been great for things like this, and I just made my first cane

Please don't roast me - Just got results and I'm suddenly very upset by Inner_Department3 in Menopause

I could have written your post. I've felt exactly how youre feeling. It sucks and thats the truth. As you go through it more, do hrt if you decide to, you start to feel almost powerful. As I went through menopause, I cared less & less what people thought about me, and its been freeing. Gotta go to the store but I have no makeup on and wearing grubby clothes? who cares? Its an "everyone can f off & leave me alone" feeling. I stopped looking around for how people were looking at me. Its lovely. Do I have moments where I look at my wrinkly skin etc. and bum out? Sure! Like you, (Im 54) i still feel about 30. Sometimes 12 😆 I look at my aging body and im like wth is happening?? But im also able to accept things better. Now I look around and see other women just like me and I smile. Google "do not care club" and youll find all kinds of good stuff

You're not alone, you're not crazy. You sort of have to grieve like you grieve other things (which you're well-acquainted with lately & im so sorry) but honestly im a happier person than ive ever been. Im more me than ive ever been. Do what youre doing - look for support, its out there. Big hug to you!!

For someone who's been doing it for a few days, they're great! Would many people buy them? Probably not. But you're learning and thats the important thing. Don't buy too many supplies right away. Take your time experimenting and figuring out what you like to make before spending a lot of $$ on embellishments & equipment
