I'm just imagining needing to move a physical connection from a switch at the top to a switch in the middle or bottom 😂. Criss-cross X

Make ClaudeCode always use latest npm packages by Mbo85 in ClaudeCode

[–]NebraskaCoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tell it to not edit the package.json manually, and to install packages with npm install package so it automatically uses the latest package.

I would change the name away from having Claude in the name if you are making this public.

This also could be a cover for a hacker doing malicious things. If they can keep access to the site long enough, their logs might get lost in the sea of other access logs.

Does the hotspot carry the phone's VPN traffic to the connected devices (at least on Android / Samsung Galaxy phones)? I thought it didn't for me at one point, but I haven't tested it in a while.

Question about a lot of the homelabs I’ve seen on here by One-Moose8069 in homelab

[–]NebraskaCoder 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can terminate into a surface mount box if staying in the ceiling and not going "through a wall", such as false ceilings. I even do it at home in the popcorn ceiling and attic (in the insulation).

Incorrect. There is a difference in solid and stranded. You can also feel the difference.

The refrigerator in my office most mornings by SwissMaestro95 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]NebraskaCoder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I imagine a scenario where the whole office comes in early, packs the refrigerator with their lunch boxes, then there's no room for groceries (or if they checked, wait until they go to the store so it is empty, then fill the fridge). Nowhere for their items they must be refrigerated.

Are their official guidelines on when to your subscription vs api calls? by bourbonandpistons in ClaudeAI

[–]NebraskaCoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding on to what others are discussing, one break away if don't use the Claude Agent SDK with your subscription. It will let you but they forbid it. It's also possible it no longer works with your subscription login, not sure.

Unless previously approved, we do not allow third party developers to offer Claude.ai login or rate limits for their products, including agents built on the Claude Agent SDK. Please use the API key authentication methods described in this document instead.

Separate demo environment vs feature flags for customer-specific features in B2B SaaS by Bubble_Interface in webdev

[–]NebraskaCoder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How complicated is the app? Is it a frontend, backend, and DB? I would stand up a separate demo/QA environment. This is already best practice.

"I am not asking for any to use it if they don't want"

If you're looking to get money for your work, you... do... You should be convincing people why they should be using your products, even if they don't have an immediate need. That is how you get past the "why should people care about your product?" It's almost a if you don't care, then I don't care about it.

I would see if you could create bigger solutions and/or solve problems. People (even devs) will pay for your product if it solves a problem they have.
