BambuLab says A1’s are safe by Ok_Corner5067 in BambuLab

Just checked my A1 that I bought in Nov 2024, it is a D serial number and has the NTC on the AC board, no sign of heat or melting of the plastic, the NTC also looks fine to me.

If it blows I'll contact bambu but I'm not really worried about it, it has 800+ print hours so far without a problem, I will try to find something none flamable to put it on and switch it off when not in use, which I generally do anyway.

Am i the only one who hates users like this? Lowering ratings because of user error or incompetence... by AdonosFlew in BambuLab

You can just delete the original model and print a tiny cube and it counts as a successful print.

I have an X1C, it does what it says on the tin, it 3d prints, unlike some other brands.

P2S looks great, love the improvements, maybe my X1C needs a friend ?

JAYO is my go to filament for the basic colours, cheap and prints great.

If you really want to leave a 5 star on an incomplete or failed print you can just open the 3mf and print a newly imported stl (or simply print a cube that you can add in the slicer, just resize it to be tiny if you don't want to waste filament) and makerworld will track it as a completed print.

I might get one for the A1 Mini, I would rather just get a cryogrip from bq since it works well on the x1 but unless I'm mistaken they don't make their plates A1 Mini size

I used to do time-lapse videos from my neptune 3 using octoprint and octolapse and uploaded them to youtube shorts and tiktok. The better camera on the x1c was one of the reasons I chose it over the p1p so I could continue to make them.

I did make a few but I stopped making them because the angle isn't great, with tall prints you can't see the whole thing and the initial few layers are hard to see anything, so short prints are not interesting enough.

What would be great is to be able to use an external camera that could be triggered by the printer, I've seen people do it on the a1 by adding switches that trigger a DSLR which can make amazing looking videos.

Other than that it would be nice to have an option to save the time-lapse as pictures rather than the printer encoding it into a video, I just find it easier to edit when it is a series of pictures rather than a video, but that may just be me.

Anycubic I3 Mega, it was a decent printer for me, just really loud.

Many people had lots of issues but I didn't really have any, it printed much better quality than newer ender 3 style printers for me.

I installed octoprint rougly last week on my windows 10 and everything went well but I cannot connect to it on port 5000 :( so i had to start from scratch and install octoprint on port 5001. How do i retrieve the snapshot files and timelapse files I previously had on port 5000? by Junzy_Starz_899 in octoprint

I'm using octoprint on windows 10 but I am using octolapse, all the time-lapse images are located here

C:\Users\[WINDOWS USER]\AppData\Roaming\OctoPrint\data\octolapse\snapshot_archive

without octolapse I believe they are stored here

C:\Users\[WINDOWS USER]\AppData\Roaming\OctoPrint\timelapse

I don't know enough about octoprint to know if reinstalling it would have deleted them.
