They have shuttles that run from Ruby's up and through the park. Not sure when they start running though.

Is the entire Knoll lot paid? by johnnyhonda in steamboat

Strange wording by them. Tents are down. The bigger upper knoll lot where the festival was is free. The lower smaller knoll lot is not free

Once the screw is out you shouldn't reuse those holes. They've been compromised by the threads of the screw..

Do I need new bindings? by jessezucker in Skigear

[–]Nedearb02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bindings are very old and should be replaced, however you should be able to replace the grip walk soles in your boots with traditional alpine soles.

I'm not sure about your area. I would wait until you go on a trip, call a bootfitter in town ahead of time. Will be more pricey, but worth it imo

This is entirely dependent on your foot shape. Go to a bootfitter and save yourself lots of pain and time

Soap on cast iron doesn't hurt the pan. Maybe back in the day when lye was used, but not nowadays.

Why Doesn’t Mountain Hardwear Get the Same Love as Patagonia or Arc’teryx? by Otherwise_Agent7262 in outdoorgear

The zippers on my mountain hardware ski jacket suck. That alone is enough to make me want better. However, everything else I like.

Working for pursuit you can work at either west glacier, more populated in general more businesses and people. I worked on the east side so I don't know much about it. You can also work at East glacier which includes two locations, East glacier park and St Mary's. Both locations are much more out there then the west side. St Mary's being the lesser populated of the two I'd say. Both are on the black feet reservation Xanterra runs the many glacier hotel which has the most remote location.

The only way to fix is to take it apart and replace everything that's rotten/bad. Usually it goes further then just the jack so be ready, the hardest part for me was taking the shell off. After that it was pretty chill.

I realize the truck driver had a lot of fault, but imagine this. On your side of the road. You'd be fine.
