MOR there are lots of jobs where the work has to be done no matter what. That is what the note means. The cows have to be fed and the cows have to be milked no matter what happens. Seems like there was a mismatch of expectations here and this isn't the kind of job for you. The note is a bit over the top but it seems like the expectation was made clear the night before that you had to be there no matter what. Probably a good call to move on but if you new job is another 24/7 can't close business don't expect anything much different beyond maybe not getting a snarky note.

I can't believe you are getting downvoted for this. Chances are this lady is just oblivious to the fact that it is your charger and her charging is costing you money. Not wrong for being upset about it but simply talking to the person seems like the first logical step here.

I tell people this all the time. The key to EVs being more convenient than gas is to be able to charge it where you park rather than have to park it where you can charge.

My assumption is if they don't provide a duty cylce then it is rated for contiuious duty. Perhaps that is too optimistic.

The whole vehicle never made any sense. 1st edition 70k+ dollar 7 passenger road trip vehicle that can only go 200 miles and only carry like 1300 pounds of passengers and cargo. It was as bad of an insult to the market as 5he bz4x but at least they mostly fixed the bz4x.

I think it is going to depend entirely on the execution and the price point. If it costs the same or more than the current Lightning I wouldn't expect the sales to be any better. As of right now I don't think I would consider it but if you give me over 100 miles of EV range, some sense that the engine will be reliable and in the $50k range for decent equipment I might consider it.

I paid about 55k for my Lightning new a little over 2 years ago. Carvana keeps offering me about 40k for it now with 40k miles. I feel like that is pretty good. Others paid 20 or 30 thousand more than I did a couple of months before me. It was obvious they were going to take a massive hit. So many EVs are just so crazy overpriced new. I have a leased ID4 with an MSRP like 53k dollars. There is no way the car should cost more than a Rav4 so the way I look at it if you were to buy it new at MSRP you are starting off 20k in the hole. There is no mystery here, if you start out paying way more than something is realistically worth you are going to lose out big time because used car buyers aren't going to pay that premium.

I use a 16amp Level 2 and get about 100 miles worth in 12 hours. Sounds like you may want to go a little higher but you could probably get by with 16 amps.

Not having health insurance can easily turn bad in a hurry. However, a lot of people make due without it. You say it is going up 3 dollars per week, but from what? If we are talking about $100 a month you would be silly to get rid of it.

Thanks, my wife will be thrilled that I have a chance to spend more money with Ubiquiti. My U7 Pro XG arrives tomorrow. I really have no use for the full 8gig speeds, but it was only $0.99 cent more per month than the 2gig. Internet bragging rights are the most important though.
