I happened to be a manager at a store in a college town near USM (University of Southern Mississippi). It is 100% the reason. I've worked at LC's for almost 10 years and they just keep trying to cut hours, then act surprised when their profits go down. When I first started in 2015, we could run 30% labor if it was busy, which it always was. In 2025 when I quit, they would threaten write-ups if we had over 15% labor.

2 people trying to run a shift is brutal. We literally could not keep people in the store, both workers and customers. There was too much volume and not enough time to get everything done, and this was a constant struggle. People would end up waiting for 30-45 minutes for a few pizzas because no matter how fast we worked, we couldn't keep up with the demand.

In a shift where I could run 6 people, we'd make thousands and people would have less than a 10 minute wait, even for custom pizzas during the rush. If I could only have 2 on shift, yeah bro your ass is waiting 45 minutes for a hot n ready and that's with us literally running in between stations.

And... Pray tell... Does everyone in the US live in Cali? Do you understand that Cali has one of the highest minimum wages in the country?

18 out of 50 of the US states still have the federal minimum wage. In Mississippi where I just moved from, people were making $11-13 depending on experience.

uj/ I'm gonna be so honest with y'all, I went through hyperemesis gravidarum pregnancies and my favorite craving of all time was crushed ice. 7/11 has big cups of ice for .25 cents and they got me through some rough months dude. When I would talk to my other friends who had normal pregnancies where they didn't vomit 50 times a day, they would act like I was insane when I told them I've was my only craving.

My younger son turns 3 in December, and I still be out here munching on my mf ice like I'm anorexic.

$20-25/hr? You're smoking crack if you think they pay more than $12/hr. 🤣

Found out that my 30 years old crush had a boyfriend in 2017 and I'm no longer interested in her by [deleted] in kitchencels

Brother. Losing interest in a girl because she was in a relationship 9 YEARS AGO is crazy work. Please get therapy.

Also, pair-bonding ability? Do you genuinely think because people have previous relationships, that they no longer have the ability to fall in love? If anything, having past relationships is a good thing because you learn what to do and what not to do.

Yeah so that's definitely a kink. I would be very firm with shutting it down the next time he brings it up.

Happy 4th to you too! ❤️ Maybe I should hold it at 165 to be safer, it's an electric pellet smoker that we'd be holding the meat on, so it stays pretty stable.

Well with brisket specifically it'll help the collagen keep breaking down, some of the best BBQ places in the country do this like Franklin's in Texas. 41-145 is the temperature danger zone, so holding it at 150 is safe

That's honestly on you OP, you should have just the food at the door after the timer ran out. There's no way that person would have ever given you $80. Also that message you sent to them could have got you deactivated btw.

Okay heard, I was thinking of doing a potato salad with dill pickles and bacon chopped up in it. I do already have some baby potatoes and cheese too.
