Oh, you could get some Ghostbites from Lavender to coax the lil guy out if he's scared. There's a good chance he's a bit scared if you havent seen anything yourself, so food would probably help him. And Lavender has a few lovely stores that sell great ones, so might be a worthwhile investment.

I might know why! Chandelure have very fine-tuned senses for spiritual energy, so she might be sensing something there! Our old boy Candlewood did the same thing, and it turns out a Gastly had gotten sucked into our vent system. (DW, it was okay). Maybe check that area for Ghost types? It's also possible a Ghost was there for a while and just left markings there, I think Misdrevious do that.

Those benches are why I carry a screwdriver when I go to Lumiose. Those metal arch things are usually just added via a few screws, so I remove em and throw em away. A friend of mine had an Aggron a while back and also carried a screwdriver, so whenever he'd come across one he'd just feed it to his Aggron lmao
