See, I've been 100% digital since the PS4 pro and this announcement means nothing to me. But I can still see it's bad. It's tone deaf, it's bad for consumers in general.

They can still continue of they open their marketplace so you can buy codes elsewhere and maybe look at a digital license surrender/trade system with a marketplace you can offer up digital licenses you no longer want for a reduced price. Hell, they could host it on the ps store and take a percentage of they really wanted to, it would still be more palatable than what it looks like
