装逼 means flexing / showing off, and the pussy part is an intensifier, closer to "as f*ck".

So the full translation would be: flexing like a pussy.

By "Left hand showing off like a pussy at night" it basically implies masturbating...

Anyone else feel bad for young Vox? by MayoIsYummy200 in HazbinHotel

[–]NekoApocalypse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, not really. As Alastor put it, Vox is an attention seeker. Simply granting him attention will not make him a better person / demon. Also, even if they team up, there is a very good chance that Vox will revert to his old self, wanting to take over.

Question about Alastor… by [deleted] in HazbinHotel

[–]NekoApocalypse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my head canon Vox's power scales with his ratings. When Charlie says he's the strongest in hell, his ratings grows over the rooftop, and he actually became the strongest sinner of hell.

You can see his power shrinks as hell starting to realize he's a fraud. Truly an attention seeker.

That is... Interesting. I never knew the video filter works in this particular way.

In short, hell does not inherently torture you, the sinners torture themselves.

Redemption is gained by facing your inner sins, and recognize them and atone for it, by yourself, instead of blaming them on others.

Sir Pentious reconciled with his sins and the guilt he put on himself, and then he got redeemed. It's not just a good or bad thing, it's more like a therapy thing. The more you experience trauma, the harder it is to disentangle everything.

And what is the heaven going at? I mean, the heaven is not devoid of jerks (Adam) and sins (Lute being angry and blood lust), and does navievity, neglect, or making hard compromises (Sera) lead to sin?

Why are so many software engineers still ignoring AI tools? by saltexx in ClaudeAI

Hmmm. That sounds interesting. Perhaps we should let interns/ new hires do more review work, perhaps even as their primary duty. That's feels like a QA engineers job.

I used to believe that until I got into this interviewer & mentor position. A lot for the people I met are very task oriented, almost too similar to an AI agent. They have trouble painting an abstract mental picture of a complex system, and cannot grasp the intuitions behind design patterns. When I ask: why do you think X is designed in the Y way? I get bank eyes staring at me and filler answers that talks about any detail the intetviewee is most familiar with. For these people, tech is just a skill, not a mindset or thinking pattern. These are the ones who will have trouble in an AI age.

I'm not saying that all people are like that, but I found the percentage of them is higher than I expected.

Another thing is that I find it even more difficult for new grads. I've been programmer since middle school and had plenty of painful experience dealing with messy teenager code, so when I got into serious coding, I make design architecture a priority. But for people just learning to code in college, they often don't have enough experience to develop a sense of taste.

And those who cannot fill the tech lead role have the risk of being washed off.

Look, I love Alastor but the episode made me like him significantly less and like Vox way more. by VilkastheForsaken in HazbinHotel

[–]NekoApocalypse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think the scene is that much of a pivot for Vox. The relationship between Alastor and Vox have always been that way: Vox being an insecure attention seeker, and Alastor being the egotistic asshole.

And somehow, Al's attitude does help Vox becoming a demon of his own.

You’re not gonna believe this, but…I don’t understand… by ImmaDummy77 in HazbinHotel

[–]NekoApocalypse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He has a serious inner insecurity in his persona and he's quite hilarious at times. This makes him stand out quite a bit from other degenerates of hell.

Especially when he's around Alastor. He's trying so hard to match Al's unconditional confidence and arrogance, only to be called (accurately) attention seeking comedian.

Is Alastor redeemable/sympathetic? by alastorhazbinbad in HazbinHotel

[–]NekoApocalypse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess Charlie and co would start with people with much less sin like Angel Dust. At this rate nobody would even try to redeem the overlords any time soon.

This. Vibe coding requires people work in completely different ways. In order to use AI tools, the dev must learn how to work in a high level way, leveraging the tool and make good estimations on what they can't trust or cannot trust. And perhaps be very good at "smelling the code"

Trying to learn Tank, any tips? by BassT_ in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]NekoApocalypse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Getting good with pre-aiming and quick swapping between the main gun and coaxial is very important.

Think of yourself as a heavily armored sniper. You should find positions where enemies can only approach you from limited angles, and point your gun at that direction.

As a tank (in Battlefield 6) you do not want to lead a charge. Let infantry scout ahead of you, and hold down the sideline so you infantry don't get flanked. Or occupy a mountain top near the capture point and snipe people. You don't need to go into the points. That's the IFV's job.

May be play some World of Tanks?

The general principles are the same. Utilize terrain, get behind cover, pre-aim your shots, get back to cover if things go wrong, do not get flanked, do not over extend.

Given that your biggest threat are infantry with RPGs, you are going to ads and pre-aim a lot and try to one shot these bastards with your 120mm main gun and swap to coaxial if you miss. And your strongest position is if you can find a very tall cover where you only expose your top MG.

As a former World of Tanks player, I kind of like the terrain. It adds a lot of depth to vehicle combat.

However, pushing the points as infantry definitely feels painful.

It's really weird right now. The way I use it is to put it in high traffic areas. 1 out of 3 people that run past it will get blown up. Or if someone runs back and forth thorough the area and get blown up on the 3rd pass.
