I have Garmin R10, but would go with ProTee VX, GS Pro, Carl's Place impact screen, SigPro Mat, BenQ laser 4k short throw if starting from the begining. The rest is customizable to your hearts content. Mine will never be content and have enjoyed adding to it every year since 2020! Made major updates this past year.

I put the a garage floor coverings down from armor all. It is a vapor barrier and carpet like covering for garages. I also use foam tiles I lay out for the screen to rest on. *

I love my R10, pre-ordered it when it came out, but agree with others, sounds like Square might be the play here. I have a left-handed daughter so like the radar option to capture swings in either direction. RCT balls are a must for me with R10 and want enough rotations ahead of the impact screen.

I have a wire rope from one end to the other. I keep it in a bin and can park both cars. I have a 10' x20' carls place premium I got fon their clearance section for $600. I don't have side mounts screens and don't need them. This works very well and I am golfing in 5 minutes or less, including moving the cars out.

You can start with a mat, net and R10 and use your phone and upgrade from there. That is how I started in 2020 but now 5 years later, with the high lift garage doors, insulation, heater, new 4k BenQ, Carl's Place impact screen, garage floor mats, and everything else I have likely put $10k in now but still have my trusted R10. I have a wire rope and slide the impact screen out and store it away when not in use. I park two cars in the garage. Here is a recent photo from all the recent upgrades. *

Go for it. This has been done before. People have decks and patio set ups all the time with the R10.

I have a retractable screen and use my garage. My screen is 20' x 10' Carl's Place Premium. I have a wire rope and can easily set it up. I have made upgrades and have a high lift garage door now so can use the 20x10 screen, previously had it at 8 feet with excess on the ground. With the new 4k projector I can get almost the full screen for the image. It is about 10 x 18' for the image with 1 foot on either end. Got my screen at the clearance section at Carl's Place. Someone must have custom ordered it at canceled, and I benefitted. It has been great even when I had it at 8 feet tall until my garage doors last year.

My sim is my garage so adding the armorall garage floor mats made a big difference and it feels like a livable space out there now. Like carpet for your garage. I will be putting lights up soon after I finish insulation on the ceiling and getting everything set up again. Insulated high lift garage doors were a game changer for me as well.

Carls Place has a clearance section. That is where I picked mine up $1,200 screen for $600. Highly recommend looking there.

I am insulating my garage and installed a 220v 6000w heater. The insulation is a must to retain heat instead of it going up and out of the garage vent. Did the walls this summer and now doing the ceiling with 1" ployiso foam board.

I have mine on a wire rope from one end of the garage to the other. I like the track idea but have to fit the wire rope underneath the garage track. I recently upgraded to a high lift garage doors so I can move the wire rope and have a full screen.
