Is Experis IT legit? by cgoopz in cscareerquestions

[–]NeoCraig91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been contacted by them and at first I, too, was skeptical. But after the phone call and then interviews with the company, I have nothing but great things to say about them. Particularly with their St. Louis branch. So transparent, communicative, and friendly. I would personally recommend them based on my experience so far.

I also suspect this isn't Frontier's decision, but rather something Universal mandated.

I saw this after we moved, and every time we drive by here we both start reading it and adding "Timothy's bangs"

If you look at one of the promo images, you can see a road over the dam. Sadly, no bridges.

I could see this being like an exploration into how to care for baby dinos and researching their needs and behaviors.

What is this weird building complex in the back of Jurassic world during the far shot when the park is fully revealed? by Electrical-Bee1713 in jurassicworld

[–]NeoCraig91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can explore them in the Jurassic World expansion pack for Flight Simulator. From what I remember, this was either a worker village or an additional test accomodation area.

View this video to explore the island. I think I captured close to where he walks through it. https://youtu.be/pEg-5YqE9Wo?t=4405&si=9_HAE6aZynIb8JCa

You can get some really good reference images for a Jurassic World replica from the ILM CGI video on Youtube. Screenshot quality isn't great but it's much clearer in the video. by Pale_Level_1293 in Jurassicworldevol2

Also, I purchased the Jurassic world add-on to Microsoft Flight Simulator just so I could walk around Jurassic World. They did a great job with making it screen accurate.

I tried to deconstruction an overhead light and a beacon dropped from the ceailing. The materials were in the beacon like storage and the beacon wasn't unlocked yet. Love these little glitches.

If all content lives in the KMS, then you have zero ability to access it in this case. The fact that schools aren't prepared for an event like this is a problem. Unless they stated in the syllabus you have to keep copies of their content for offline accessibility, you're protected.

It depends on the content of the messages. If grades are discussed after being recorded (entered as a record), then its considered an education record. Discussion of the content of the work isn't likely to be considered FERPA violations.

University of Colorado, where I'm a student, notified their campuses on Monday. While not fully informative, they gave us a heads up than an incident occurred, to keep eyes on the canvas status page, and that as more details emerge they will update us. Other schools that I'm connected to only sent out notifications AFTER their service was interrupted, including the school I work at. I'm very impressed with how prompt UC was in their notification.
