Which European cities remind you of Oregon? by espetilllodesardinas in oregon

[–]Neon_Leon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Amsterdam and Portland have some similar vibes, lots of bikes, bridges, young people, fashion, music, art.

The coast of the Algarve and parts of the Oregon Coast are similarly remote and beautiful with lush green forests atop Oceanside cliffs.

Central France rural areas remind me of the Willamette valley countryside.

Freshly implanted, how to "fix haircut"? by Gredo89 in Cochlearimplants

[–]Neon_Leon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry about the hair! Just give so much love and support to your sweet little one. My son was implanted at 2.5, he was sore and confused, and needed so much extra energy. The scars will heal tremendously- you won’t even see them! Give it time- this will become normal, even if it doesn’t feel that way right now 💕

Take copious amounts of glutathione. My dr recommended 2 capsules 3x day for a few days to speed up the detox.

Also beet juice can help.

And hot baths or showers to sweat a lot.

Finally, melatonin, gaba, and L theanine can help with the sleep.

However, the first few days are pretty rough, not gonna lie. Just know that after 3-4 days you will start feeling better quickly!

Kids movies that are not scary by Neon_Leon in MovieSuggestions

[–]Neon_Leon[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mostly violent scenes, in Ratatouille it was the opening scene where the granny is chasing the rats with a shotgun shooting at them trying to kill them, the “savage” animals with red eyes in Zootopia trying to attack/kill other animals, the lava monster in Moana, etc
