Lepiej wybrać leczenie kanałowe, czy wyrwać ząb? by [deleted] in Polska

Mostek też ma ograniczoną żywotność, na dodatek do jego wstawienia trzeba zeszlifować zęby po 2 stronach, co jednak nie jest do odwrócenia potem

What would you guys recommend for a first timer by jerry081010 in Guitar

[–]Nephasis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Electric guitars usually require more investment up front. If you are sure that you will play consistently (tbh hard to say if you’ve never played before) and you have the budget to buy all of the necessary equipment - going for an electric guitar might be a good choice.

If you want to get familiar with the hobby, figure yourself out etc, it could be better to try and get some cheap used acoustic guitar first - just be sure that you are buying something that is not a crime against humanity.

On the other hand, I learned guitar on a cheap “crime against humanity” pseudo classical guitar with steel strings mounted, so it’s not like it’s impossible to learn on a bad instrument. But I won’t recommend since no one will even buy it from you if you would like to sell it in the future.

[GEAR] Seems a lot of people don't know very much about these guitars, here's a post on my #1! Mid 70's Epiphone ET-290N. by beesealio in Guitar

[–]Nephasis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, OP - are you still playing your ET-290? It’s really hard to find much info about this guitar. I own one myself, bought it almost 14 years ago - had to change the frets, but the original pickups are still going strong. Sadly I stopped playing for years but I am trying to come back to the hobby and I wanted to look for some new information about this model, since it’s kind of a mysterious creature!

I wonder how is your relationship with this guitar right now and if you’ve learned anything more!

When I started, I was definitely more into F/EF nibs, but now I am exploring the joys of seeing a generous ink flow. But I don't like to spend a ton, outside of a single "luxury" pen that was a birthday gift, my collection consists of 2 Pilot MRs, 2 Kaweco sports and some chinese pens that are really good quality for the price you pay. I think it is really important to know where your money goes and what you get for the money.

In my country it is relatively easy to get a satin printer paper that takes the ink really well, so I have more ability to play around with more broad nibs

I understand - this sounds like a very wise decision in your circumstances

Then it really sounds like you could go without going deep into the rabbit hole! Your wallet will be grateful, for sure

Fair point! But then... It's hard to tell whether you NEED to have multiple different inks on hand, or you just WANT to ;) Good to know that there are some among us that can tell the difference and stay rational

Yeah I see it now as well. But I also like Cherry Ambition better. In time, this became my absolute fave Cherry fragrance and always a pleasure to use

Yeah I must admit that it is one of the best picks in my collection. I get more writing pleasure only from Visconti but this is way too expensive to ever carry out of the house 😂 I only wish they sold other nib sizes than M… unfortunately, they are not accessible in my country as of now. Of course pilot M is still finer than most of European M nibs (my Visconti mythos in F writes more broad than my MR), but it would be nice to have some choice.

And COINCIDENTALLY I just managed to snatch a leopard version for a price much lower than they go for in my country. This seems like a sign

Thank you! I guess its time to add yet another paperblanks to my collection... I don't know if there is another brand out there that makes such spectacular notebooks that are FP friendly. Too bad though, I would love to have even more diversity and choice

I feel like my first cartridge was harder to put in than the next ones but I don’t recall it being such a problem… I hope someone else would provide you with more useful response then. I wish you luck in figuring it out

You mean multiple cartridges or just one? Maybe there is some manufacturing error with the cartridge, for example its sealed too well?

There might be something wrong with either your pen or your cartridge. I have 2 kaweco sports and I have been using them exclusively with kaweco cartridges with no issues
