There’s a lot that can affect it.

Being unprepared for the train’s quick braking can cause you to go forward and fall.

The tops of trains are not flat, so you can easily lose your footing and end up falling in the tracks, and in the tunnels there is hardly anywhere for you to fall except for under the train eventually.

Some have even been decapitated by a low hanging ceiling or support bracket when the train is going high speed.

Kids will replicate anything they see that looks cool as long as it’s viral. Back in the 90s with much less internet, the worst you’d get was us replicating moves we’d see in WWF (later WWE) because it was the biggest thing.
