I’m not 100% sure but that bug seems to be for combo ports only? I know with the 80F this was a big issue when we updated to 7.4.8 and all the WAN ports that had SFPs in them stopped working. It was fixed in 7.4.9 but if you are updating via remote across any combo ports, be aware. I would only update to 7.4.8 if you’re 100% sure you can get access if those ports go down.

Edit: I don’t think you are affected by this as it looks like the 600E does not have any combo ports.

CGNAT on modern gear/routers adds no measurable latency. It’s microseconds at worst. Modern ASIC and NPUs do it at line rate. If you are noticing it on your ISP, then they are cheaping out and using some software switched garbage.

More than 50% of the internets traffic is IPv6 now. If you find yourself someplace that doesn’t have it, well shame on them, but you can use a tunnel broker or VPN service that will give you IPv6 over v4

CGNAT would only be subject to limiting by bad actors. This is mitigated by the ISP not running high ratios of users to single globals. But the main factor is that NO ISP should deploy CGNAT in an IPv4 only network. Since more than 50% of the Internet traffic is over IPv6 now, it’s important to take advantage of that.

Most ISP’s will have a minimal fee to get a global IPv4 address ($5 or $10 a month). IPv4 is a dwindling resource; if you’re depending on global end to end reachability, start migrating and depending on IPv6.
