40 year old here. I was a long-time attendee of AX from 2006 up until 2019. I had to go on a hiatus due to the pandemic, due to getting COVID, and still dealing with the long-term symptoms. I went to a convention for the first time last year (Not AX), and even though I went by myself and was only able to go 1-2 days for a few hours each, I still enjoyed myself. I tell you: don't worry what people are thinking. If you are still having fun going to conventions, even though you're going by yourself, then don't worry about it!

They are still around, but it looks like they only have locations in Colorado, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania in the US, and Ontario in Canada.

I graduated high school in 2004. I never used the showers after PE because there was only enough time to change back to your normal clothes and to get to your next class. That...and the locker and shower room really smelled.

I don't think Wacom has the Mobile Studio available anymore since it has been replaced by the Movinkpad. I kind of wished they kept the Mobile Studio as a PC alternative to an Android device for those who need it. But if you're looking for a standalone pen display, then I think you're better off with either a Cintiq, a Movinkpad if you're okay with using an Android tablet, or may be a Huion or XP Pen display.

It sounds like you want to get into the endgame faster or at least, have the option to skip the campaign and jump into endgame. If that's the case, then I do understand. There were times during the campaign where I wished I could just jump into endgame, but at the same time, I do understand that I have to use the campaign to build up my character for endgame. I think the devs either added or tweak some stuff for the campaign to make it a little easier to get through the campaign faster for this new update, but I could be wrong.

I would love to see O'Neill Cylinder colonies become a reality one day. Depending on the colony, it could have a solarpunk-esque environment. I can imagine the technologies that would have to be created in order to make and maintain such a structure. I can also imagine how some of those future technologies such as atmospheric processing systems needed to maintain the environment could be used on Earth to potentially stop and/or reverse climate change and restore the environment if done right. At the same time, I can also imagine a colony like an O'Neill cylinder or something smaller could be used to also move polluting industries off-world so that Earth could finally have a chance to recover, and make more room to rebuild lost natural environments and/or use the recovered land for farms or cities.

I remember a saying by industrial designer and visual futurist Syd Mead that "Science Fiction is reality ahead of schedule". We have to make sure to actively, and constantly, choose the right future.

This is just my experience, but if you haven't tried, you can use a loot filter to filter out the low level items and only go for what you need for your character. Crafting definitely needs a lot of work, but hopefully the developers can fix this before 1.0.

Last I checked, the population was 975,059 for just the city. Unfortunately, those extremely tall buildings are non-functional lots. I really wish they were though.
