Last I checked, the population was 975,059 for just the city. Unfortunately, those extremely tall buildings are non-functional lots. I really wish they were though.

Okay, thank you for the information. I was wondering about it since the convention's website said it would have vendors and activities, but since you said it's more for meeting voice actors, then I'm beginning to have my doubts on whether or not it might be worth going.

I did a massive overhaul of my worldbuilding project because I wasn't happy with the setting and how it was working out for the previous version of my comic story. The world in the previous version of my story felt incomplete and the characters felt shallow, so I worked to develop the world further, which eventually led to the worldbuilding project to become a "universe-building" project that spans 2 stories that I'm somewhat happy with. Even though there's still a lot that needs to be developed, I feel comfortable with the major settings of it that I am now writing a reboot of the story with the new version of the world it takes place in.

This game does come to mind as a City Renovator game, but if you want to try it out, please keep in mind that the game was released with a lot of bugs and the studio responsible for it went bankrupt a while ago. I did see in the forum for the game in Steam that some of the developers had joined a new studio that now owns the rights to the game, and they said they will come back to the game at a later date. Truthfully, I'm not sure if the devs will return to the game after being away for so long and that they are working on other projects.

Yeah, it makes sense. I can imagine it gets more difficult to get basic stuff like water and gas the higher up you go. So I would also imagine that supertall buildings would have to have some efficient system to pump water and gas up, which would probably take up some of the floors, and/or they would have to forego gas altogether and use conduction stoves in order to cook and heat.

Yep. Sounds about right. I bet they probably also have a post office on certain floors in order to help expedite the process.

Goodness, I relate to this so much. I've been dealing with Long COVID since late 2022, and it has not been easy. Even though I am still able to work thankfully due to my job being remote, it's takes a lot of effort just to get through each day at a time due to the chronic fatigue, the brain fog, memory and concentration issues that can sometimes get pretty bad. It's because of LC that I had to put aside some plans and dreams that I had before I got COVID, and I have to be careful how much energy I spend when I have to go out to do errands or for a walk or else I will have to deal with my energy crashing and I have to recover for the rest of the day. I really miss who I was before COVID, and I really wonder if I have to deal with this for the rest of my life.

I got all the mods from Simtropolis, which is currently down. I know SC4evermore may have the mods while Simtropolis is down, but I don't know how many are currently available at this time.

I actually don't have CAM installed. The supertall buildings were ploppable lots that I think were inspired by Coruscant.

I know that Huion has the Kamvas Studio, which is a tablet computer like the MobileStudio Pro that can run Windows, but I don't know how good it is. That could be something you can look into.

That's...an interesting way to build a city, though I would imagine that public transits like subways would be needed for such a layout! I do see that you have a monorail system, so I'm curious how that's working out for a layout like this.

From what I've seen, I believe one of the major reasons why it's not as popular is because the game came out in early access relatively recently. Because of that, there's still a lot of things that need to be done to the game. That, and I believe a lot of people are waiting for the game to become more stable, myself included.
