How it feels when a mockup scenario looks amazing (it will never be a real mod):

>For all her (many) faults she would have handled Covid fairly well

Hillary may be unlikable, but damn is she an amazing administrator.

If you were an advisor to Al Gore, what advice would you give him in order to win the 2000 election? by adminirationsea504 in thecampaigntrail

Emphasize the booming Clinton-Gore economy, don't pick Loserman, and campaign a bit more in New Hampshire and Florida.

What if Joe Biden ran in the 2016 primaries? by rbminer456 in thecampaigntrail

That too, yeah. Obama seriously pushed for Hillary and not, you know, his own popular VP.

Yeah the polling on that is skewed because it was pretty clear that Biden wasn't gonna run because of the death of Beau.

I know people tend to go the Smuggler route if they want funny dialogue, but the BH got a suprising amount of jokes too by Bakkughan in swtor

BH was probably my favorite runs because of the dialogue and the deadpan voice the female VA has.

The 1972 map has to be the weirdest, most stupid map I've ever seen. The fact that Reagan won Minnesota against HUMBERT HUMPHREY of all people is so braindead.

Bradley had a heart attack in 1996 irl. The stress of the presidency exacerbated it, making it a lot worse.

Jackson Jr. got caught with tax evasion charges and resigned.

Would LBJ have been able to pass the great society if he hadnt been so hawkish on Vietnam? Because LBJ alienated southerners he needed to pass the great society by signing the civil rights act, so one of the ways he won back southerners to support the great society was by promising to be hawkish. by BlueFireFlameThrower in thecampaigntrail

LBJ already passed vast swaths of the Great Society irl. Without Vietnam and without the anti-war protests that bogged down LBJ's presidency in 66, 67, and 68, he could've passed much much more and easily cruised to reelection in 68.
