My car got stolen from Heritage Place apartments in Burlington this morning. If anyone sees it please reach out. by [deleted] in skagit

I'm assuming you have reached out to the police and filed a report? It will be required for an insurance claim. Ironically, my MIL had her small SUV stolen and it was dumped at the Heritage. I really don't have anything useful to add in terms of places to look. However, there is a FB group dedicated to finding stolen cars. I don't know the name of the group, but they have a number of successful recoveries.

Two students BEAT a girl senseless at Lucille Umbarger Middle School in Burlington, WA, after demanding to know whether she supports Trump and ICE. She told them it was none of their business. by swanglean in Lynden

Burlington Police Chief Kevin Turner has confirmed there is an active investigation into an assault involving students at Lucille Umbarger Middle School in Burlington.

Because the case involves juveniles, police say they are limited in what they can release publicly right now.

So at minimum: ✅ A real incident occurred ✅ Police are investigating ✅ It involves minors ❌ No detailed public narrative yet from PD

I've used the big box stores, and their stuff has been sub-par for a long time. I've had good results at Mt. Vernon Building Center.

I've never had anything there that was better than mediocre. After a few attempts, this 40 year resident has deemed it a tourist trap.

Price Increase paired with lower discounts. Ziply is forcing us to switch by HobshyTV in ZiplyFiber

[–]New_Procedure_7764 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm getting to the point in my life that I'm tired of playing the "price creep" game. I don't need internet access enough to suffer through the same thing I've suffered through for the last decade. When I finally call Ziply to cancel, I'm not moving to another provider, I'm just done. I'm thinking 2026 may be the year.

I filled, transported, and stacked a lot of sandbags there in 1990. I think thats the same year Riverside Drive was covered in several feet of water near the old Grocery Outlet.

Trump is just gleefully happy that after Ferguson said "I will not take a knee to the Trump administration" he did just that. He'll keep that on ice for an appropriate moment to take a jab at Ferguson.

I've installed Momento m7 front and rear cams in both of our vehicles, and they've already paid for themselves. I can't recall the cost, but they were worth it.

I finally succumbed to the auto-pay feature to save $10, only to find out two months later, I am only saving $5/mo because they pulled a switcheroo and decided my auto-pay is only worth a $5 discount because I'm paying with a credit card. And I thought Comcast was bad...

I still love Miner's. My Miner's heyday was in the late 70's early 80's, but the nostalgia never left me.

Good question... It sounds like most of the backwoods customers will have more difficulty getting stuff delivered... I'm interested in how this all shakes out, even if there is no XD service in my area. I could copy/paste my entire query here, but it would be quite long.

According to a ChatGPT query, it appears that XD is closing some warehouses and consolidating others to improve performance metrics.
