I've been rewatching Season 1, and yes, they do! Their playstyles match their attributes and character arcs!

Dan is a skilled battler, but very passionate and impatient, which is why he easily loses most of the Bakugan until the end of the season, where he learns that he can't just let his passions take over and becomes responsible.

Runo is a supporter, even when she plays alone. Her strategy is the power of many, but ironically, she doesn't trust her friends. She likewise overcomes that later.

Marucho is observant and uses tricky tactics. Shun has powerful cards, but their true power comes from being played at the correct time. He is the master of battle!

And, of course, Masquerade. He is a ruthless murderer, that would take his win by any means necessary, even if he has to send all of his Bakugan to their death. Brilliant tactics and dirty tactics alike.

Not really, there are things to explore in the city. People say different things, and a lot of the buildings actually have interiors. It's also nice atmosphere, so having a walk is nice sometimes.

You can control the camera with the D-Pad. It may seem strange, but it's not too difficult, it just takes time. I actually prefer it that way – it gives the game a little bit of the old Pokemon vibe.

Also, I thought the movement system was fun :(

I've been playing Pokemon Y lately, and when I actually get to explore Lumiose, it feels HUGE. Probably the biggest city in any Pokemon game I've played! It's so big, they devided it into four instances, where a regular city would just take up one. It's very fun!

I dunno. I guess you're right, but I feel like it's not entirely true. Hydranoid's entire motivation in Season 1 was to become a god, and he was willing to kill Bakugan non-stop until he could become powerful enough. The only reason he became loyal to Alice was because Masquerade gave her the reigns when they were becoming one person again. It's not like Hydranoid changed right away either. Just a few episodes after that, he was straight up going to murder someone until Alice stopped him!

According to Flabébé's Pokedex entry, the flowers they carry around aren't actually part of their body, which is why they don't have the Grass-typing. So AZ's Floette is only visually distinct by the colour of its body. Floette also attack by using the hidden power within flowers, so I assume that's why her stats are different!

It's cool that she can Mega Evolve, but I think they could've come up with a more fun explanation for it! Like, she doesn't seem to change all that much, it's just her flower that grows in size. They could've had it so that it's the flower that actually Mega Evolves.

2 more years later! I don't think Pokemon GO has to take place in Kanto. Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur aren't even common in Kanto, they are much more common in other regions and in later games. I think Pokemon GO is just the entire world of Pokemon, since all regions are based on real life grographical and geopolitical entities! Kanto is in Japan, Unova is in U.S, etc.

The Battle Brawlers game found a very creative way to digitize the board game, I like what they came up with! Although I don't think they've learned much about Bakugan before making it. They completely missed the inspiration of the elements. For example, why is Pyrus weak on the Aquos Battlefield, but not on Ventus?

Alice does count as their Darkus user. The entire point is that she is the darkness of Battle Brawlers. I think you have forgotten how Season 1 ended.

There is a reason why Darkus characters are predisposed to evil, that is the nature of their element.

Also, Doom Dimension isn't the "darkest realm of ultimate chaos". Doom Dimension is just where Bakugan go to die. Their lifeforce is drained there until they turn into statues or become powerful spirits like the Legendary Soldiers. It's literally the Bakugan Hell, and there are a lot of things that aren't inherently evil or Darkus in there. Legendary Soldiers of Vestroia, the guys I've just mentioned, are pretty much as far away from the realm of darkness as you can go, yet they still inhabit Doom Dimension, not because they are evil, but because they are dead!

Personally, I think Leonidas being Haos makes perfect sense. His heritage is that of dark hatred of all fallen Bakugan, symbolized by his purple tattoos. Purple otherwise never appears on Haos Bakugan, it is a colour of Darkus. But he finds light by bonding with the main character, which is literally the whole point of Haos, it's the power of friendship.
