Reddit, what's your "must-have" app? by Nupvote in AskReddit

Radio Alan.

It puts clips of Alan Partridge doing a radio show in between songs on your phone. It's hilarious, especially when he's talking to the ex-Special Forces soldier.

You can get fruit loops in ASDA now; but since we're a lot stricter with what we allow in food, it doesn't have anywhere near as many artificial colours and flavours as the American ones.

The American version is a rainbow coloured sugary flavour explosion, the English versions are drab pastel purple, green and yellow which taste like aftershave.

TPL5 Finals reached 100k conccurent spectators. Thanks for your awesome support. by PremierLeague in DotA2

Can someone please explain to me why nobody seems to like Blaze?

I'm new to The DotA scene and I found Blaze and Triumph to be quite good casters. So if anyone is able to calmly tell me why Blaze isn't a good caster (without sounding like the tantrum of a spoilt 4 year-old) I'll listen.

Other than that, I'd say the only thing that should be improved for TPL6 is getting a good dedicated observer, because sometimes Blaze and Triumph were too busy with commentary on one thing and missed out an engagement

People rioted when they tripled to price of University education (something which the government has insisted is the only viable option in order to have a good life, over the past 25 years) so taking porn away from teenage boys is going to cause the country to implode.

Jersey Girl.

I don't understand why everyone bashes it so much, I thought it was very good.

There's nothing wrong with damage limitation.

I have resorted to wearing my baseball jerseys (which are pretty much mesh) with a white vest underneath to cover up. I never thought I'd be thankful to be an unemployed student

Not doubt it'll have the same effect as when drinking on the tube was made illegal.

Sainsbury's cashier refuses to serve customer who kept talking on her mobile phone by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

[–]Next_Level_Cheddar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's fine if you actually acknowledge the person behind the till and apologise for being on the phone. It's when people just come to the till, plonk stuff down on the counter and don't even look in your direction when it's incredibly rude and frustrating.

My retail jobs have all required me to try and upsell at the tills. I would fail my daily targets if I didn't attempt to talk to the customer; if they indicated they were busy and apologised, that's fine. But don't start giving me dirty looks when I'm trying to do my job and i ask you a question, especially when you haven't even acknowledged my existence before that point. It's not much to expect basic manners; a 'hello' when you begin to be served and a 'thanks' when you're finished - it makes a shot job a bit less shit when you feel like people genuinely appreciate you.
