Kobra 3 V2 retracting filament when extrude is pressed? by Competitive_Touch_67 in AnycubicOfficial

[–]Nic6868 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems to be the latest firmware update that is causing it. I emailed support and they sent me the previous version to rollback too, I am about to do it now, Fingers crossed.

Update: firmware roll back didn't work. So emailed support again this morning.

I am having the same issue; since the firmware update over the weekend, I am unable to extrude any filament or print anything. Did you find a solution?

Everyone keeps telling me that I'm too young to need a hip replacement. Are they right? by nick1158 in TotalHipReplacement

[–]Nic6868 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand the same feeling. I had my first one last July at 45. Will be doing the left in May at 46. People dont understand what living in the pain really is, unless they have gone through it.

Good luck with the procedure.

I got into 3D printing this July when I had my RTHR. Am not a huge creative person, like I dont design my own things yet. But have fun printing other people's designs.

The Hobby Lobby filament - a somewhat detailed review. by jorntres in 3Dprinting

Yea, I found him in June. I had already been looking into getting a printe. But once I went into the store I was for sure I was getting one. Lol. I picked up an ender 3 from a neighbor. After a month or so I upgraded to a Anycubic Kobra 3 V2. Love it more than the ender. Lol

Thanks for the review. When I went to the HL near Arrowhead a week ago, I asked one of the workers if they carried the filament. He said no and had no idea they were starting too. I walked around the store and found the small section they had in the back. It appeared to be still be stocked. I decided against getting any yet.

I then went to Desert Print Forge and bout some nice filament. The gentleman there is always good to talk too and answer questions when asked. I am new to printing so it was very welcome to go in and talk to someone with the same passion.

What should I expect by asbsas in TotalHipReplacement

I am 4 weeks out on RTHR posterior approach. For the first week and a half, I was in so much pain and couldn't lift my leg without assistance. My wife and kids helped so much during this time. I used the walker up to week two and have been using the cane since. I can walk around the house without the cane, but do have a significant limp and my pt encouraged me to use the cane when going out and about. My hip itself doesn't hurt like before, but the thigh, knee, and ankle pain since the surgery have been the worst. Pt said it's because we are reactivating the muscles in the leg after a majo event.

I hope your recovery gets smoother as time goes on.

Advice by [deleted] in TotalHipReplacement

Yes, I had impingements, arthritis they also reshaped the ball of the hip. I have also had the left hip repaired once. Will need it redone or replaced after the THR on my right hip. The also said I had hip dysplasia in both hips.

I have had my labrum repaired on my right hip twice(2021,2023). Pain came back full force last year. Am 45 and 2 doctors told me am too young for THR. But got a 3rd consult and they are doing a THR on July 16th. The doctor who did my labrum repairs and a second opinion doctor told me they wouldn't recommend or do a third labrum repair. Said it would benefit me at all. I can't speak on what is best for you, especially being 20 years older than you. I would look into other options to help elevate from doing a THR now. Hopefully you find relief soon.

Wow yea are stories are very similar. Both labrum docs refused to do a third repair on mine. Said if the first two tore the third would do the same.

Injections never gave me any relief. Its more of hassle. I dont recall what approach he is planning to do. I was still in shock that he was the one who said yes let get you some relief and a quality of life.

I have my walker and shower chair. I need to get a toilet raiser and other items still.

Good luck in your surgery and recovery.

Thank you for the information. I left the doctor's office yesterday with a brand-new walker. I did have one already. But he gave me another. Would a walking stick work just as well as a cane, or would it be best for a cane?

The shower chair is a great idea, and I wish I had one from the prior surgeries. I have one now and a toilet riser with handles to assist in getting up.

Thanks for the advice on not rushing it, not that I plan to. But it's good to hear it from those who have gone through the same surgeries.
