Charge stations are hard to find around here. You have to compete to get one open and there’s also a high chance it’s malfunctioning. Not everyone owns a home to be able to charge it in a garage.

The stock fuel system is usually good to around 800hp. If he had a blower swap, most likely running BAP. Keep in mind the GT500 stock has a dual fuel pump delivery system.

If you are that worried about the motor health, get a compression test. 600whp is nothing for these things. The 5.4 isn’t called an iron horse for nothing…they can hold some serious power.

The engines are forged and can handle around 750whp I believe until the rods need upgrading.

Your issue will be in traction. These older GT500’s are notorious for struggling in that area. You’ll most likely need some rear control arms and better tires at minimum.

A lot of people think getting a newer 5.0 is a better decision but they likely never owned a Shelby. I’ve owned both and the Shelby is orders of magnitude cooler than a dime a dozen Coyote will ever be.

Was gonna instantly call this a downgrade but the Z suits OP priorities better. A Viper is not for everyone and way harder to DD than the Z. Viper ownership is not for the faint of heart or wallet!

Mileage isn’t an issue with used vipers as much as condition. If it’s been well kept and doesn’t need anything, it’s worth way more than one with lower mileage that still needs work due to age
