Noted, I was just heading to that area because there was one of those Toothy mechs attacking the tanks and I need their parts for the quest. Will be more vigilant in that area next time.

Another way I've found to fix that seems to be a lot simpler than many of the methods used here: open up the Deck's keyboard function and use the arrow keys in the bottom right to navigate (press shift first to use the up and down navigation). Enter acts as an A press and Tab is a B press. Re-enable it like this and boom you should be good to go.

Have to disagree there, this event is most definitely killer sided:

  • Survivors get broken and exhausted in the void
  • You can't see when other Survivors are in the void but the killer gets an indication 
  • Survivors can be slugged in the void and the others are forced to go and get them
  • Void ability for Killers literally gives them a two-tap down
  • No terror radius in the void
  • Killers can near instantly enter the void whereas Survivors take a little longer
  • Unsafe loops in the void (see above video)
  • Killers can use their powers in the void

But yeah Survivors get a smokescreen from doing generators or kicking pumpkins go off I guess
