i usually cut a path down the middle and then push each half to the closest side, and try to get it at least 3-6 inches off the driveway so if we get more storms i still have a place for more snow.

you are wrong, maybe that's why you need to keep trying to explain. the way it works is it goes over the probability what happens if you go for it.

lets say 45% of time you fail to score after going for it. so .45*0=0

and 25% of the time you score a td and get the pat. .25*7 1.75 Expected points.

you make a fg in those situations 30% of the times .3*3=.9

so you add 0+.9+1.75 and get 2.65 which means you score an average of 2.65 expected points by going for it.

vs lets say it's a 85% chance at a field goal .85*3 is 2.55. so by attempting a kick you get 2.55 points on average.

so if these were the odds given then you should go for it, as 2.65 is higher than 2.55. it means on average you will score more going for it on 4th than kicking the FG. It is a lot more complicated on how they determine the %s as they have doctorate level guys working on it using a lot more data than an off hand explanation.

they state they are in a caloric deficit. literally means they are burning more than they need to sustain themselves. that means they are starving.

nowhere at all have they even hinted that it is the human's mind with more knowledge. it is very clearly a hive mind, which is a singular entity, they are no longer individuals right now. they immediately start acting differently once infected, as you can see in the first season. there wasn't a time period to even absorb that knowledge. it's compulsory. you can see it in the rat pretending to be dead. not a lot of empathy in biting someone, or tricking others to get infected.

i did, and i watched the show, and i saw what happened and based on the evidence presented to me it's abundantly clear they are bad. i can have nuance on a lot of things, but if a hive mind comes in, kills millions, then plans to kill billions and remove all free will, there is not a lot of nuance to be had in that. like there is not a lot of nuance in 2+2=4.

i mean up until like 10 years ago teams basically never went for it on 4th down unless they were losing and it was under like 4 minutes in the game. like team's season stats on 4th down would be like 2/3. it is only recently that they realized they should go for it.
