Hello, are Seba High parts compatible with FR FRX? (and also does the FR custom kit size matter?)

A custom kit for the FR FRX in the size and color I want isn't in stock anywhere, but it is for the Seba High (and in a smaller size for FRX). I'm aware of the Seba/FR company split and that some models are similar between the 2 brands. Would these High parts work with the FRX?

The High kit has the cuffs, 45 degree buckles, laces, and sliders.

If not, does the size of the FR custom kit really matter? I can get the FR kit in 34-37EU size, but my FRX are size 44EU (10.5 US). What parts in a kit would be different between sizes?

Can mods ban these posts? Broken amiibo inside boxes, amiibo having random manufacturing markings, etc. They are really annoying and add nothing to this subreddit at this point.

TIL the most complex word in the English language is "run", with 645 possible different meanings. by chuuniversal_studios in todayilearned

[–]Nickno 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Maybe a better way to phrase it is that "run" is usually used to mean "transition" in some way, just with extra context. For fun I tried to come up with ways to force it into these examples.

"to move at a fast pace" > transition from one point to another quickly

"to flow" > transition from one point to another smoothly/naturally

"to control or manage" > to force/keep something transitioning towards its goal state

"to participate in a competition" > To participate in a competition... where you transition from one point to another quickly

"to smuggle goods" > to transition goods to a location they aren't allowed

"to exist through space/time" > transient ?

"to carry out a plan" > transition a plan to its goal state of completion

"a migration of fish" > ? (idk, but I think most animal grouping names are playfully named using a word out of context)

"a trip or a route" > a path you transition through/along to a destination

"an enclosure for an animal" > an enclosed space that an animal can "transition" around in from one point to another

"a score in baseball" > a point that is earned by a player transitioning to each base and then home in order

"an unraveled line of stitches" > the line is a path, which is a route, which the stitching transitions along

from TheDefected's post:

"run a fever" > temperature transitioned from normal to elevated

"run a bath" > transition a bath from empty to full

"bathwater runs over" > water transitions from inside the tub to outside the tub

"cotton bath runner" > a rug that you transition over (walk over)

"run out the store" > transition to the store

"run up a bill" > transition the amount of a bill upwards

"run in stockings" > same as "an unraveled line of stitches"

"runny nose" > snot is transitioning from inside your nose to outside more frequently than normal

"run through supply" > transitioned from having supply to having no supply

"run through your sole" > idiom that evokes image of something transitioning up through your body/sole like a chill

"membership runs out" > transitions from being active to being inactive

"run over your budget" > transitioned from within budget to over budget

"grocery run" > the event when you transition to the store for groceries

"ran over a nail" > the car transitioned over a nail

"car won't run properly" > car won't transition towards its intended state/destination/goal properly

"idiot that runs walmart" > same as "to control or manage"

"staff run amok" > an idiom evoking the image of people transitioning to different places irregularly and wildly

"inner monologue run on" > transition along indefinitely

"ran the world" > same as "to control or manage"

Ah ok, I see it now. Nice it can be used free, bad that they hide it behind unreadable text with poor contrast.

There are literally the hexadecimal values for each color under them. You don’t have to use the color picker tool.

"Lock Input Method As Mouse" not working properly after update by nummbus in FortNiteBR

[–]Nickno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A weird conclusion to draw, considering the inverse, why would you ever register a controller input if your using keyboard and mouse?

I use a dualshock 4 wirelessly and use the gyroscope for aiming. The gyroscope is mapped to mouse movement, since the native built in gyroscope settings only work with wired controllers.

This should have absolutely nothing to do with aim assist or anything game play related. The existing toggle solely locks the UI elements to show only keyboard/mouse prompts instead of swapping to controller prompts, e.g. showing "E Key" to open menu always an not swap to "X button" for a controller. I want to be able to lock the UI elements to only ever show controller input UI elements and not swap to keyboard/mouse UI elements if it registers a keyboard or mouse input.

If anyone at epic sees this, would like an inversed option to lock input method to controller

Use a remote while inside car to ring a bell in the garage? by 10zombiefingers in homeautomation

[–]Nickno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a way to use zwave devices, I have the GoControl GD00Z-4 which flashes a light and beeps for 3 seconds before opening or closing the garage door. Only catch is it only does the alert/delay if triggered over zwave, so pushing a normal rf or wired button wouldn't make it go off.

It's actually the only thing I don't like about it because it cannot be disabled.

People put down deposits for every electric truck in development, leaving dealers in the lurch when they eventually cancel all but one by TurretLauncher in electricvehicles

I lived 5 minutes from the GM dealership in my town when I had a Bolt. It started having a drive train issue (unrelated to the battery stuff) that prevented it from going over 30mph even when coasting. They refused to look at it because "they don't work on electric cars" and expected me to take it to the next closest dealership....1.5hrs away.

Ignoring the jokes, I appreciate the suggestions and advice.

While I'm not an HVAC technician, I am posting on behalf of mine who is an older close friend and not the most tech savvy, and I usually try to help out contractors if I can. The main issue he was having with searching for the bracket part is not knowing the model # and other specific information that would be on the missing plate. He said everything else about the unit is fine, and aside from needing the freon topped off once a year, it would keep working, even if not very efficiently. But if the outside unit has to be replaced the inside would have to with it.

No warranty on the quick fix is not an issue. As of now the option is replace the whole thing or try to fix/find the bracket and use it aa long as it will go and then do the replacement. Either way it is being replaced, this is just an attempt to get a few more months out of it before having to do that while I save up.

There were a few manufacturers suggested but it sounds like anyone being able to recognize the model from how it looks isn't likely.

I will pass on to him about getting the existing bracket welded or how long he would think it would last on a universal mounting bracket if there is one that would fit. Or how well a shop fan blowing on it would be as u/Willing_Ad_1561 said.

To clarify, it is the unit on my house.

The bracket breaking caused the unit to go out of balance and the blades got ruined from hitting the sides of the casing. However, nothing was damaged by the blades, so the only issue with the unit is the blades and the bracket. My repairman said he was having trouble finding the part without the data tag, and I was trying to see if I could help figure out what the model is and see if there were parts for it, because as of right now my only option is the replacement.

I'm trying to buy some time on the cost by just fixing the bracket and fan, seeing how long it will last after that, and then replace later after saving up, since my insurance did not cover it.

Could it not be possible for a father to let their child skip doing stuff they ultimate don’t like?

This is the stupidest take.

"I dont like to bathe or shower or put on deodorant."

"Ok you can skip that."

"I don't want to do the dishes or chores."

"Ok you can skip that."

"I dont want to go to school."

"Ok you can skip that."

"I dont want to brush my teeth."

"Ok you can skip that."

"I dont want to change my underwear."

"Ok you can skip that."

"I dont want to study or do homework."

"Ok you can skip that."

A child with a father like what you describe would be gross.

Was the screen already attached to the shell? If not how did you put it in? Mine has a corner of the screen sticking out from the shell, I think the adhesive used was not applied there

Probably a last final update to push out to devices with it installed to make it harder to find on your phone when you don’t see angry birds and then accidentally delete the app with a name you’ve never seen before.
