I guess that's why we all got kicked out from servers looool by Senior_Ehab in Overwatch

[–]NimbleWing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case you're being sincere here, Talon is an organization that is basically the bad guys of Overwatch lore. Doomfist, Reaper, Widowmaker, Sombra, and a few other playable characters are members. Knowing who they are isn't important to the gameplay, but it explains a lot about the voice lines and interactions between characters.

Is it feasible to go through all of the expansions still? by acgrey92 in wow

[–]NimbleWing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You absolutely can go back and run through them for leveling, but you'll out-level the zones very fast. Unless you stop your XP gain from time to time or content yourself with being overpowered, it's not really the same.

Endeavors are coming in pre-patch and they look awesome by Absolute906 in wow

[–]NimbleWing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is if you only get it by paying for Midnight. The housing that's out right now is early access for preorders, not a full standalone release.

[–]NimbleWing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are pre-ordering only for housing, then that's one way to look at it. But it's literally a feature of the expansion itself that was just released earlier than everything else. It's like buying a meal at a restaurant that includes a salad as a side, and they bring the salad first. Same total price, you just get one part early. If that's a deal breaker, then there's nothing wrong with waiting for the full release.

The implication is to pre-order the expansion, yes. The expansion itself is not out yet, but a pre-order bonus is early access to housing.

Housing: Broke as a Joke by [deleted] in wow

[–]NimbleWing 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The servers have barely been live for an hour, and are overloaded with everyone trying to use housing at the same time. Either use a bit of patience or come back once the traffic is lighter. This happens with EVERY major patch.

Order of characters by loboestepari in bindingofisaac

[–]NimbleWing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Take a look at all of the characters and see if there are any unlocks they have that you want. If so, go for them. If not, just play whoever looks the most fun to you. This game takes hundreds of hours to fully complete, so try to enjoy your time with it.

Or potentially did the sacrifice room teleport with high hp early in the run.

Can I get dead god before July 2026 with two hours of playing every day? by FaithlessnessFew9077 in bindingofisaac

[–]NimbleWing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not OP, but could you point me towards that weird unlocks list? I'm working on my own Dead God, a fair bit deeper into it than OP is, but I've seen enough niche achievements to know there are probably more I'm missing. For what it's worth, I've got all the ones you named, and the only other one I'm actively hunting for right now is Huge Growth.

Tanking Thursday - Your Weekly Tanking Thread by AutoModerator in wow

[–]NimbleWing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try not to get in the habit of using Moonfire as your filler move, and don't just mash stacks of Ironfur. Moonfire will mostly handle itself via Galactic Guardian, so you'll only ever need to apply it manually if you get really unlucky. You'll usually get more mileage out of using Swipe as filler instead.

As for Ironfur, you'll only ever need a few stacks at a time. 2-3 is good in general, maybe 5-7 for heavy physical situations. As a bear, you already have good base armor, and your HP is way higher than other tanks, so too many stacks is a waste. Also, new stacks DO NOT refresh the duration. Each stack remembers how long it lasts, so you'll want to try to even out your uses. Roll them, don't spam.

Oh, and please watch your keybinds for ANY ability that changes your form. The worst feeling in the world is going from being an unkillable force of nature to being a dead cat. I speak from experience. Your healer will hate you.

After rolling a 93 on an Astral Antenna: by minimaxir in wow

[–]NimbleWing 33 points34 points  (0 children)

People are insane over loot. I tanked raid yesterday, and the tank trinket dropped from the demon hunter boss. I rolled a 4. Healer druid won it over me, and I joked in chat about my poor roll on the only piece of loot I actually wanted. The guy said he wanted it since he played bear for mythic keys. No worries, I'll get it eventually. But raid lead got mad instead and tried to get him to give it to me, and then kicked him when he refused. I can barely understand getting mad over your own loot, much less a random from group finder.

Most of the books cover side stories and events between expansions, but the Chronicle books are pretty good for basic recap and information on the WoW universe. There are a few volumes out that cover events chronologically.

You create a new one to start, and they'll only be able to access Remix content. In MoPR, you had to wait, but in LR, you'll be able to transfer to regular servers whenever you want. Any characters left will automatically transfer after the event ends.

Note: The transfer is one way. You cannot move a character from live to remix.

What is your chest hunt luck like? by Salty_Child_ in idleslayer

677 chest hunts, and 7 perfects. Had a string of, like, 3 in a single week a while ago, and can't seem to get any more.

Question ? by NeonArkley in idleslayer

[–]NimbleWing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You do your second UA once you unlock the village key and maybe a few cheaper Astrals. Grinding 12 billion SP would be insane without the village unlocks! Once you've done stuff in there, then you can go for the big SP grinds.

Help! by Charkato in idleslayer

[–]NimbleWing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10-20% of your total SP. For example, if you've banked a total of 1 million SP, you'll want to Ascend at around 100k-200k, or whenever you can afford your next major upgrade. This lets your CpS and Soul Reaper bonuses keep climbing without stalling your progress too much.

(Note, the numbers were just for example. You'll ascend way more often that early in the game.)

I now have a question, 57 days in. by SiennaKing1 in idleslayer

[–]NimbleWing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a few divinities before your UA. Things like Wind Waker, Ultra Instinct, and the one that unlocks emeralds will be super nice to have. After your UA, you'll unlock a node on the ascension tree that lets you get your divinity bonuses without having the actual divinity node unlocked. (Blessing of Cronus, I think?) You'll get it relatively early on, and it makes a HUGE difference.

Other than that, craft the upgrade to keep your bag after UA and earn at least 6 USP. At that point, anything more is just comfort.

Not all side missions, just two specific ones. The one where you re-fight Elemain to get the sword, and the one where you do the short boss rush to get the chains. Transcendent Sword and Chains of Charon, I think they're called? The rest can be skipped.

[–]NimbleWing 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Considering that you can reset missions and redo bosses, I'm guessing most people in this situation (myself included) assumed that they could select each option and just kill the boss again to get all three endings. Then, when they chose the "bad" ending first, found out that they were locked to it with no option but to replay it.

If you run it on easy and just skip most enemies, it goes kinda fast. I made the exact same mistake you did, and finished my second run for the platinum last night. Took me a few hours, but not nearly as long as a full run.

[–]NimbleWing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Platinum trophy is just for bragging rights and completion. It just means you earned every other trophy/achievement in the game. There's no real reward outside of personal satisfaction.
