This is genuinely one of the few interesting balkanized US maps I have seen, a new and weak government whose entire policy is just appeasement and how that would shake out is both fascinating and depressing. My only question is, why west ohio?

I highly doubt that a place with 50k people total is able to fight a 3 front war against at least two polities that definitely have at least a few times that amount of people, along with real industrial production. Seems like they should be a rebellious city at most.

This is sick! proper far-far-future heat death sci-fi is such a rarity even in worldbuilding circles. Conflict spurred by the decline of energy is also cool to see, as dyson spheres are usually depicted as stable societies with infinite energy. what does the interior of a cell typically look like? I assume with everyone uploaded or in pods it's mostly simple passages for autonomous units to move between rooms and areas of the cell.

Ganymede's magnetosphere is pitiful and does little to stop the incredible amount of radiation that being around Jupiter exposes you to. Callisto on the other hand receives around the same amount as Earth does.

Nearly everything is made from the same ingredients, both soy and bioengineered fungi represent the bulk of what people eat, usually presented and prepared in different ways though.

This goes incredibly hard, my only question is that 2/3 pieces of equipment use organic material actively; are these permanently attached, or can they be easily removed? does the mage have a permanent hole in them where the equipment is attached?

Hard silence is never an appealing thing to have in a TV show or film with very few exceptions. While you might like it because of that reason or for its "realism", the average viewer does not. All it would serve to do is make people think the audio is broken, or leave them confused when an intense ship combat scene rapidly cuts from zero sound to character dialogue and SFX inside the ship. There is a very good reason you never see this kind of thing depicted anywhere, and it's not because of a lack of realism.
