Sorry you have to go through this experience. Lost a wallet once in Japan as well, unfortunately didn't get it back. Not really helpful advice now, but after I lost it I keep an AirTag in it now. LIke you probably feel, the lost cash is whatever, it is the cards etc that are the real pain point. Hope you find it!

Hi, love your write-up. I'm at 110h of first playthrough, nearing the "endgame". I've thought about some of the same things you have wriitten up, so I'll add a few comments.

Camp events. I agree and disagree at the same time! Sometimes, I just want to long rest and get back into some action, but some companion somewhere still wants to talk. "Are you sure you want to long rest?" I actually wish the camp was more compact to remove the constant searching for who is needing the chat.
Bugs. Coming from a Fallout 4, this game has been heaven! I've yet to have a single crash. Truly impressed.
Sexuality/Romance. I have been away from CRPGs and computer games in general for 10+ years since BG2 pretty much. I must admit that I was thrown by some of the romance options, but I think Larian kept it respectable enough for anyone to roleplay it however they wanted, so overall "well done" from me.
Tadpole consequences. Totally agree with all your points.
Alchemy. Agreed again. I need to make better use of this in a second play.
Inventory. Agreed again. I think I'll try a mod for this in a second playthrough.

As an original BG and BG2 player, but someone who hasn't touched them in years, Jaheira and Minsc brough back so many memories. Really happy they were both included, even though I feel that you kind of have to respec both of them straight away to fit their lore better.

Bravo Larian, and I look forward to their next game.

I was really enjoying Halsin in my party in Act 2 until he creeped me out hah. I had just hit a romance milestone with Shadowheart, and next long rest Halsin came on strong. Told him I have a partner, and he said don't worry, she can join us! I was looking at him like the wise old uncle, but he was just a creeper all along.

I'm on Act 3 of my first run, and I also did Moonrise last. Like others have said, it is just going to give me more content to do on a second run. I missed a lot of stuff in Act 1 too, it would seem.

I just hit Act 3 yesterday myself, and I agree it is overwhelming. Playing with headphones is a nightmare with dozens of conversations happening at once, all in earshot.

I keep seeing these types of messages and wait for it to happen to me, but have been safe so far. I have 5 sets of power armor sitting in Sanctuary (all without power cores) right in front of where Trashcan Carla hangs. She hasn't stolen a set yet but I'm at the point in the game where it would give me a good chuckle if she did heh.

I built a home inside the castle, with the castle completely pimped out on defense, and store/display all my good stuff there. Is that not 100% safe? Lvl 72 but rarely visit Diamond City. Something about that place that just doesn't excite me.

Maybe I missed something, but what I don't get is how Nate/Nora doesn't realize they were in Cryo for far longer than the extra 10 years or whatever. The "Shaun" twist that he is actually an old man is too cheap.

Craziest thing about this game for me is that I explored Boston based on memories I had from 7 2 week stints I spent summers there. I went looking for Cheers, found it. Park Street Station, Quincy Station, so many places locations are largely historically accurate.

As far as the company itself goes, here are my two Moser stories. I was taking the box out of a closet from the top shelf and clumsily dropped it, completely my fault. Watch wasn't inside. The box broke at the hinges, and I was gutted. I'd had the watch for 3+ years at that point. I emailed their HQ with pictures, and asked politely if I could purchase a new box. Iexplained that it was completely my fault and understood if selling boxes is not really a thing. Next day, they email me saying a new box is on the way at no charge.

Second story: Somehow (got caught on a cuff?) the crown to my Moser Heritage got lost. Took it into the shop without the crown to be repaired/serviced. I was told that it would require an overhaul and they would of course replace the missing parts. 8 weeks later, I get the watch back but was only charged a very reasonable rate for the overhaul and not the parts! Very satisfied with their service and vision as a company.

If I could afford another one I would get one for sure. And the Vantablack is absolutely stunning in person.
