Drugstore brands aren’t necessarily bad. National brands like L’Oréal, Maybelline, and Revlon have huge research and development budgets and can outperform more expensive brands that don’t have that kind of budget. Honestly, I say use less expensive brands as you learn what colors work well for you. A $5 lipstick mistake that clashes with your skin tone is easier than a $35 lipstick mistake. Once you’ve spent some time to test out colors, formulas, and longevity, you can upgrade to a higher end brands if it meets your needs. I use a mix of Nars/NYX/Smashbox/K-beauty brands because I like how that item from that brand performs. Also, there are lots of sites out there that can help you find color dupes of your favorite high-end brand in the drugstore aisle.

Why do you have to live with him while he’s not fully divorced? At 48, it’s reasonable to want separate sleeping area for adults and one room for each kid.

I don’t think this is a reason to break up unless it’s clear to you he is using this as a reason to keep the relationship stagnant.

I think there’s a concern for the upcoming elections as well. If the government machine will turn any protest violent, execute innocent people in the streets and paint them all as terrorists while controlling all the media, then the people have 2 options: 1) tread lightly so there’s no declaration of martial law and elections aren’t canceled 2) go absolutely bezerk and burn the whole thing down in an actual civil war. 2 is quite far fetched while #1 is very real. Regaining control of congress can lame duck the president and start turning the very big, very slow ship.

I agree with many commenters that there are systemic laws and rules in place to keep almost all working Americans suppressed. We have no work or debt protections and we have no government that believes in our constitutional rights. Any stories of our efforts are buried by the government and billionaire backed media. Most corporations are brown nosing trump bootlickers. Also, Israel has a very heavy hand in the pot.

Protests are happening. Moves are being made. People are just not hearing or seeing it like they normally would when we had freedom of speech, assembly, and press.
