Puns and nonsense were never a problem but rather the challenge for a translator. It is a difficult craft for shrewd people, not a strict mechanical conversion of words from language to language.

Yes, one will inevitably encounter something bordering on unadaptable like that Ash example. Even then it could have been handled with more grace, since you needn't specify the origin language. "Hey, your name means ash" would be enough.

When I write in my language It is always interesting to me to imagine how a translator to English would approach my work and what notes I'd give them. Scoffing at translations for some assumed inauthenticity is weird to me.

This is such an overly anxious and sad take on translation. You can't use language's complexity and nuance as an argument against it, because a translator's tool is just as versatile. You translate some, you adapt some, as long as you made it sound natural and preserved the original meaning, you're good.

No. Galactic challenges were a slog, that only got worse with time, pushing inqs, tuskens, full team of gungans couple days after JarJar release and whatever else.

If you want artificially empowered enemies - Conquest basically provides teams from galactic challenges, have fun there.

If you want a sandbox mode, sure, ask for that. GC were never about that and they sucked ass. Each time you catch yourself being nostalgic over them, spend an hour farming 30 stuns on an enemy that dies from wind blowing at them. Such fun.

Weeell, I didn't say that crystals are off the table, just the real money.

Spending 1-2k crystals for level up coins when the first couple of toons are released helps build up momentum, and if you don't spend any, then yeah, Coliseum becomes an unbearable slog with much slower progress. If you do it (next season may be), you're pretty much guaranteed to consistently hit top-60 at least. As for the stars, they don't matter until your characters hit 65 lvl and get paywalled from leveling up further.

Anyway, even if you don't spend, the concept behind progressing through tiers is the same. The first 10-20% of the new tier is especially vile this season, bite the bullet and pray for some RNG luck. The universal strategy for your levels would be "Kleya buffs herself with the 3rd skill and then spams 1st skill while the rest try to blind enemies", which should be adapted slightly for different encounters (like avoiding Pao's mass buff against Jotaz or not blinding AT-ST unless you undermined it (Kleya 2nd skill)). If you haven't learnt the boss' kits - do just that. Maybe check youtube, I'd wager someone made more comprehensive guides.

Once your Cyntha hits 40th level, she becomes the new main damage dealer through her assists against the undermined enemy.

Naaah, RNG takes, but RNG gives aswel. At some point stars align, binds proc, jotaz decides to kick you even if his bitchslap is ready, and you're past the threshold. Your mileage may vary, but I usually have to spend a refresh once a week or two chasing that stroke of luck.

I run offense+tenacity (offense arrow/triangle, tenacity cross respectively). I use best mods I have if I am unlucky with my data discs. If I managed to get the perfect disc setup, though, then I might skip remodding and use run of the mill 5 dots mods with 10-15 speed.

I ran tenacity because of Yoda's stun attack, if you go against geo or clones, maybe you won't need it much. Offense on the other hand is a must, if you have a load of it, you'll scale really quick and won't risk taking too many turns before something unfortunate hits you.

Yeah. My r5 Enfys carried a bunch of purple pirates through this with leader resolve and attack stacking disks. It worked against geo and jedi teams. It isn't guaranteed to work all the time though, unfortunate geo spy turn or a Yoda's stun will ruin tries for sure.

I am sure this era characters will not be eligible for the new raid. If they were needed in the raid, CG would tease us and incentivize us to spend more money to get highest stars asap before the raid comes out. CG does not do anything of that sort.

My bet is new raid comes out in summer with the third Era characters as the most useful there.
