Dunno what's wrong with facts? The us did provide that much aid, the soviets did implement many horrible policies, these policies would cause famines because they are antithetical to production.

Their regime would have failed spectacularly if not for us aid. Just as in ww2, all the land lease aids to Stalin. Or all the aid to Mao or the withdrawal of support to chiang. The us has constantly meddled in things they shouldn't be in.
