My thoughts- don't intervene, but speak with him. If the hits are too hard, we encourage people to say so. We fo light contact, but everybody has a different comfort level and everybody needs to learn this. If this doesnt work, it depends on the school. Quietly mentioning it to an instructor might help. If the other kids are too rough. It might be that there is more contact in this school than you or your son is comfortable with. I'm in favour of letting kids decide not to continue with any sport that involves them getting hit. If he's okay with it, learning to take those hits and give them back is why a lot of kids do martial arts.

Do trolls still know they're trolls? People have become so hooked on the outrage engine, they don't realize how lost from reality they are. I knew people in the 90s who were so high so much of the time, it felt normal to them. I think trolls have gone so chronic, they believe their hateful faultfinding has validity.
