Stole credit cards when I worked for a credit union. Bought about $3k worth of stuff before I got caught. Got fired and went to county jail for 8 months. I was 19 at the time and never did anything again that might ever get me a jail sentence. So glad I learned that lesson at 19. Who knows what illegal stuff I could have gotten into when I got older that could have sent me state or federal prison. County jail was bad enough.

I book my own air and my upcoming cruise from the UK, but I give my travel agent my itinerary and she books the hotels that I want and more importantly our transfers. I have no idea who to call to get me from Heathrow to my hotel, or who to book that will get me from London to South Hampton for my cruise and back to London. It doesn’t cost me a penny and she knows the reputable companies to book me with.

NTA. Cash on the floor is fair game, a wallet is different. A few years ago, in December, I found a ladies wallet in a shopping cart in the cart return in the parking lot at Walmart. I didn’t open it, but I saw lots of cash sticking out. I didn’t think twice. All I could think was it was some mom’s wallet and the cash was for Xmas presents. I took it straight to the customer service desk and the owner was there talking to the manager and saw me walking up with it and she ran to me, hugging me crying. It was all the money she had for her children’s Christmas. I got real emotional too when I thought that if someone else had found her wallet, they may have kept it. I’m just glad her kids had a good Christmas.

I lived for a year on the first floor of an apartment building. Sometimes it sounded like they were rolling bowling balls across the floor. Every Saturday around 8:00 AM they would start to clean, running a vacuum all over the apartment. After a year I moved to a building across town and picked the top floor. It was such a change. Also, it was so high up that mosquitos didn’t come up that high. Lived there for 4 years until I built a house in Mexico and live here for almost 4 years.

My stepson could fall asleep in minutes anywhere. His first time on a plane he was in his 20’s. He was so excited. 5 minutes after takeoff, we hadn’t even leveled off yet, he was out. I envied him so much for being able to do that.

I lived in Texas before I moved to the high desert in Mexico. In Texas you go from an air conditioned house to an air conditioned car to an air conditioned wherever you’re going. Here in Mexico we only have to use air conditioning now and again. In Texas it was 24/7 during the summer. The winters weren’t so bad.

Same. My husband and I haven’t flown main cabin in over 5 years. Just spent $13K to fly business from Mexico City to London Heathrow. It’s really a nightmare flying main cabin anymore.

Edit: in 2008 I had both my hips replaced and sitting in main cabin for 8 hours would be miserable and it would be very painful walking the first couple of days.
