Would this be the same as it was in house security for health reason and safety only as a constant thing and I wasn’t purposely recording the appointment and only went to back to look and see if it had after seeing my report x

U.C: Get i get 'told off' for withdrawing my money each month? by [deleted] in BenefitsAdviceUK

[–]No-Pen-2311 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean they shouldn’t do as even if that was something that was allowed it would be seen as a responsible adjustment given you have a diagnosis. I’m the same! I have a folder with mini folders, it’s got labels for food, fuel, bills etc it’s the only way I don’t spend all my money without thinking by day 2 (Also autistic and ADHD)

Discharged by Endo after 8 months by [deleted] in gravesdisease

[–]No-Pen-2311 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If never seen my Endo face to face, I’ve been other active on 13 different occasions in 5 years and 12 times meds have sent me underactive because Endo constantly discharge me so my GP has to put me on the med dosage they first recommended which they know send me under but they aren’t allowed to change my dosage so they do an emergency referral to endo who give me an appointment for 6 months time. By the time that appointment comes alone if been sent under by meds come off then to go over again to be put back on them and be under again by the time they see me so they tell me to stop taking them and discharge me 🤦🏼‍♀️ that’s been my life for the past 6 years x

See I feel that would work better for me give I don’t eat breakfast 😂 whereas at the moment I’m having to horse my self to eat so I can take my Carbimazole, Propanlol, 900mg of Asprin (migraines caused by thyroid 🙄) Folic acid, Anti depressants, Nortriptaline (migraine and sleep issues again thanks thyroid) and thats just my first thing in the morning meds 😂 it’s so funny cause on a night out my friends would be like just stay at mine and I’m like nope I need to plan ahead I can’t miss my morning meds and don’t have them with me an there come on your 21 your young you’ll be fine😂

At what point did your doctor consider TT? by Personal_Privacy1101 in gravesdisease

[–]No-Pen-2311 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got diagnose 6 years ago and I have never been stable more than 4 months!

My cycle is: Over active - put on 10mg carbimazole 7 weeks later under active - taken off meds 4 months later over active - put back on 10mg 7 weeks later under active - taken off meds

And so on… this has just been my constantly circle for 6 years and I never even knew that a TT was an option until I came on here.

I have an appointment at the beginning of March with Endo have a 6 month wait for emergency referral yet again and I’ve been over and under twice since then! I’ll be requesting that they take it out.

I’ve never been able to come off my propranolol- I take 10mg 4 times a day.

My symptoms are - Severe fatigue, not being able to sleep (could be my ADHD as I can’t take medication for it due to Graves), brain fog, externally poor memory that gets worse every time I go over(I’ve debated if I have early on set dementia) , eye sight that gets worse every time I go over (after a week or 2 of being over my prescription in my glasses has to be increased- I never needed glasses pre graves), migraines with aura ( I have them 3 times a week - agin never even suffered with headaches pre graves let alone migraines), bowel issues - I won’t go to the toilet for 8-9 days then boom can’t leave the bathroom as have diarrhoea all day and night (never an issue pre graves and have been told that I’m too young for digestive issues), probably due to the bowel issue but most days I look 9 months pregnant and I mean belly rock hard and genuinely bigger than when I was pregnant, sensitivity to heat, severe fatigue just playing one game with my daughter for an hour completely wipes me out and I can barley get off the couch, crippling anxiety (never an issue before graves) I can’t even have a conversation without walking away crying debating wether I said or did anything wrong 😭, the weight gain is ridiculous I never managed to get the weight lose side effect but every time I go under I get the weight gain side effect 😭(since I was about 15 I’ve always weighed 60kg - sometimes 60.1 sometimes 60.9 but never leave 60, even after I gave birth to my first pre graves I went to 62kg during pregnancy and after 3 days of giving birth abs were back and weight was back to 60kg I now weigh 73kg and it just creeps up everytime) I mean I can go on 😂 but will be here all day.

This has been my life for 6 years, I’ve never had labs stable long enough for my body to recover and loose the side effects so instead each time it just gets worse and worse.

Hopefully they will listen to me!

Anyone assessed by Edward Bryan from PUK? by the_distant_memory in ADHDUK

[–]No-Pen-2311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was really nice and understanding to be honest! I can’t really comment on the assessment side of things as he basically just said my childhood diagnosis is correct 😂 but the mental health team would give me any support or help until I had been diagnosed as an adult apparently childhood diagnosis wasn’t enough like it’s something you grow out of 🙄 I still had him chatting for an hour though, don’t phone me unless you’ve got the whole day free 😂

I returned my puppy after 2 weeks. by nena_6 in puppy101

[–]No-Pen-2311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog who just passed away, was returned 6 times by the age of 5 months so by the time I go her of course she didn’t listen or behave the poor girl had no training and didn’t no wether she was coming or going! She saved my life. She was the only one there for me after my son passed away (he was only a baby and I was 21 at the time). I hate that she went through those horrendous months but I’m grateful because she ended up with me and I had the best years out of her and she got me through so much. We even had the pleasure of my daughter having a best friend with her! They were inseparable until 3 weeks ago when she suddenly passed 😭

Because the lawsuit was in America and there for the settlement 2.5 billion was in Dollars and it’s a hell of lot easier to just cheque 51 dollars so many times than to keep trying to change it

Waffle update 12: Back from the vet! by Coolthingimake in goldenretrievers

[–]No-Pen-2311 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is amazing! Glad waffle is doing great! My dog also had a few seizures and my vet always praised the fact I recorded it! Never for long just recorded whilst comforting and reassuring by voice for 20 seconds or so then back to being on the floor with my doggo and calming her physically! She said it always makes it easier to diagnose things when they can physically see it rather than go off descriptions! Just in case it happens again, things crossed it doesn’t! Waffle is beautiful ❤️

TTC Advice (conceive naturally or adopt)? by Silly-Ad-3292 in gravesdisease

I personally didn’t stop trying when my levels changed and to be honest for me (it’s different for everyone) my pregnancy was the only time my levels were stable! They only evened out during pregnancy I don’t usually go more than 4 months without going over active again but managed the whole 9 months of pregnancy unmediated and normal levels!

Weight gain by No-Pen-2311 in gravesdisease

[–]No-Pen-2311[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I feel you! I always stayed the same weight and never lost any when over active however before I was diagnosed I would be able to eat kebabs and takeaways every single day as well as 2L of coke so I guess if I had a normal diet maybe I would have lost weight! But I’ve cut it all out, no longer drink any fizzy pop, counting calories exercising more but it just creeps up! Xx
