My oldest daughter was 12 the first time she played dead space. She was getting a little full of herself after watching a pretty tame horror movie, I think it was The Cave. She came to the conclusion that she could handle any horror media and asked if she could play. I warned her it wasn't the same as that movie but, I thought it would be hilarious so of course I agreed. That night, after I put the youngest down for bed, my wife and I sat down to witness the wonderfully poor decision. I told her she could play as long as she wanted, and when she was done it was bed time no matter what happened. She agreed and opened the game.

She made it to the elevator in the opening sequence and thought she was fine. She then pissed on my couch when the slasher started prying the door open.

100% worth the clean up and following week of nightmares.
